In December we will have a M a s s Awarness Day. We will wear a white Tshirt with the words "Michele Colon, you are not fighting alone…" and behind "WMSCOG: Wolves in sheep's clothing. Infringing on first ammendment rights. http://www.examiningthewmscog.com" Some of us will post our pictures in Facebook, some will picket. We have to let the most people know about the WMSCOG and who they really are. More details coming soon.

SmurfParticipantIt's funny how they're supposed to be proclaiming the word of God, yet they don't really like it when you tell people about them :))
And I'm not talking slandering here, I'm talking telling people that the WMS believes a korean woman is god. Which is basically 100% true. And is in no way slandering. But for some reason it makes them edgy. And I mean "edgy" edgy, like to the point of panic attacks…
LOL. It's fascinating to observe this phenomenon from outside the group.

@Scuba: This is a great idea! I have another idea along these lines, but I want to run it through some people first as I don't want to give the "church" a heads up on it. @Fly lice: This is what I have found to be 100% true as well. A member was angry with me because I gave someone in the family the scoop before he had a chance to preach. I didn't do anything but tell the person the basic premise behind what they believe, but the member said I "misrepresented". I didn't misrepresent one little thing. It was just that they value the surprise attack. It works better when they can fool you into it slowly!November 6, 2013 at 5:54 AM #65183
angelikkeprParticipantI already know about this Massive Awareness Day and I think it is a great idea to warn the people, most of them dont even know that this cult even exist and that this situation is really happening. It was too late for me when I realized that my daughter was part of the WMSCOG and as I kept reading and learning of what it is all about and started comparing testimonies with mine the whole situation really hit me. I miss my daughter so much even now that she got her boyfriend to believe in all this nonsense and went to live with him because she knew that nobody in the family was backing her up after all her attitudes changed for worse. If I only had the opportunity before of seeing on facebook (for example) somebody warning the people about all of this I think I maybe would have some time to talk to her about what the cults really are and the pain that they cause, maybe I would have had the chance to prevent all this pain from happening, so lets give a BIG WARNING to others, we, our loved ones and other people deserve better than watch how our and their families are broken apart.

MountainMomParticipantI don't know if there is a coordinated effort or not, but we can have our own T-shirts made in our various communities. I also suggest that we get out to visible areas like in front of TV stations or newspaper buildings. They are hesitant to do investigative work, but they will cover protests and report on them.

MountainMomParticipantSounds like December 14 is Mass Awareness Day. I think that we need to get the word out, and this is a great idea we should pursue. I would also like to put a word in on all behavior for Mass Awareness Day staying along the lines of appropriate, legal, and, it goes without saying almost, non-aggressive. Since we have loved ones in the group, I think we all agree that we wouldn't want behavior that would cause any type of aggression that our loved ones could be caught up in or hurt by. We need to get the truth out, and the best way to be able to do that on a continual basis is to be appropriate with our method. That's what I have always advocated, because it is in all our best interests. And I stand by the ideas I have suggested for writing on cars, T-shirts, and protests in front of TV stations and newspaper buildings.

MountainMomParticipantAnother suggestion, if we are to get T-shirts made at our respective areas, it might be a good idea to have them all the same color. Any suggestions?
