HI fellow members,
I had been a member of this church for a little bit over a year.This church was introduced to me by my ex girl-friend. But to make the story short this so called true church is letting their female member marry the brother just for sex. There was this sister on the church that was in a relationship with a brother and since the brother was not a believer no more she decided to end their relationship. after a few months after their break up she wanted to get back with him but he said no. A short while after she was texting him to get married with her because she could not hold it no more(sex) but the brother said no that he would not marry her for sex. I found out a week ago that this sister told pastor her problem about wanting to have relations and pastor approved a marriage between her and another brother that was really good friends with the ex of the sister.smh. This church is letting these poor lost young adults get married purely out of desire and not love.

Really? Permits are generally a few hundred dollars and that includes several on site inspections. How many church members are licensed AND bonded to actually do construction in the state of NJ?

Thats correct. There is no more than one God. The entire point of the Trinity is that they are the exact same person. Which is what God actually says about himself. Isiah 9:6 the male child will be called "mighty god" and in other verses, alpha omega, beginning and end, creator of the universe, etc…God, who is almighty, can look like anything they want.
Also, if Male and Female are both images of the same God, then commanding to worship them with no idols obviously excludes -themselves- as they themselves do want the faithful.
Also, Christ said that when he comes back, it is going to be with a new name. He's not going to be the same person. Rev 3:12 "and I will also write on him my new name." Therefore as we pray and ask for all things in the name of the Lord, if the Lord says he wants a new name, thats the new name we use.
The WMSCOG says that Ahn and Zahng are 2 seperate gods. So.. you must agree that one of them isn't the true God.

I just wanted to point out the WMS Brother says that 2 Gods = 1 God. It's ridiculous how they keep bringing up the Trinity to explain. No one says that the Father, Son, and HS are 3 Gods but 1 God. The arguement of the Trinity is that the 1 God has many titles/roles.

Speaking of marriages, family break-ups, and so on. I looked for another thread, but this one was the closest to the topic. Long term members may want to comment on any possible similarities of spiritually influenced break-ups; younger current members – perhaps influence on which direction to go with relationships.

I watched almost half of this video. That dude was creepy! In his case the brainwashing was very evident. He didn’t use scripture from what I could see so I have no idea why those people believed his claim. Nevertheless, the WMSCOG is a destructive cult. They do use bible scriptures to make their claims. The brainwashing though is done very covertly, unless you know what you’re looking for. At the WMSCOG, you hear sermons repeatedly. You’re either practice preaching trying to get signatures, or someone is preaching to you for signatures, or you’re studying with a new potential recruit. Sometimes the Sabbath and third day sermons become monotonous because they ultimately have the same theme-Passover or mother. Eventually you begin to believe it-it seems to all make sense.
