    HI fellow members,

I had been a member of this church for a little bit over a year. This church was introduced to me by my ex girl-friend. But to make the story short this so called true church is letting their female member marry the brother just for sex. There was this sister on the church that was in a relationship with a brother and since the brother was not a believer no more she decided to end their relationship. after a few months after their break up she wanted to get back with him but he said no. A short while after she was texting him to get married with her because she could not hold it no more(sex) but the brother said no that he would not marry her for sex. I found out a week ago that this sister told pastor her problem about wanting to have relations and pastor approved a marriage between her and another brother that was really good friends with the ex of the sister.smh. This church is letting these poor lost young adults get married purely out of desire and not love.

Huh? So a law that a majority of people here in the US (mind you Iam a federal officer) agree with but because your church does it per your own words "pure unadulterated constitution evil"… Have you ever been to Korea? Have you ever seen the KNPA riot police? They are worse than alot of police agencies here in the US who deal with protestors. Whether one is black and korean married, I dont care. I just hope it is done legally as set forth in the laws that WE THE PEOPLE elect our represenitives to make. So if the church is bringing members (men and women) to marry just for the sake of the church, these people who do these marriages should be arrested for violations of the law and the members deported back to Korea.

No I hated the INS and have seen it as a violation of the constitution and BASIC HUMAN RIGHTS sinse WELL BEFORE being in WMC.

you are lying or wrong when you say Koreans and Blacks do not marry. As far as what one person says it doesn't matter False prophets will be in the true church.

    Shimon,

    Again, the issues are…

Do you think that it is ok for your church to lie to the government?

Do they feel that they are above the law?

It is acceptable that they do construction on their properties without the appropriate permits?

Is this behavior that you would expect from a church that claims to preach "the truth"?  Is this behavior that you would expect from a group that claims to be doing "god's" work?

Come on Shimon.  Let's deal with these issues.

As a general rule no but to immigration it is acceptable for anyone to lie. NOT that I believe WMC does.

    No

Evidence? (again permits are another stupid concept most of the time but at least marginally reasonable sometimes)

    Shimon,

Here's the evidence that you requested.  This is the link to the minutes for a planning board hearing in NJ where it is discussed that certain construction had been done without approval.

were they married before the joined the church, or were they married in the WMSCOG?  that's the key point i believe the people here are debating and this was not clear from your post.

Really? Permits are generally a few hundred dollars and that includes several on site inspections. How many church members are licensed AND bonded to actually do construction in the state of NJ?

Im going that you have no job. I never once stated that you did not file taxes. You do not pay taxes. Iam asking would you or this church bear FULL RESPONSIBILITY TO FEED, HOUSE AND CLOTH the immigrants?

Yes I believe Permits (of most sorts not just construction) are 99% about the money.

I am not aware of the state of licensed and bonded members of WMSCOG anywhere but last I heard that only mattered if they were paid labour and you wanted to be able to sue them for a bad job.

I said there was a time I had no Job I have one now. I guess you didn't read the posts talking about that I apologise for putting words into your mouth, so to speak.

I know that Deacon's wife has an actual Job where she takes care of herself and the Church pays for housing of course by Paying the rent on it.

I just have to say, with all this talk about building permits, if you ever spend time in a country with no (or lax) building permit requirements, you'll come to appreciate them here a little more.  But in any case, how can any Christian ignore the law when the Bible says in Romans 13:1-7.

Unless the law of the land goes directly against God's basic commands of love God and love your neighbor, then you are commanded to obey it.  You don't get to pick and choose which laws to obey based on whether you like them or not.  You may not like the permit laws and immigration laws, but God tells you to obey them.  (I don't like the laws that say I have to pay taxes and follow the speed limit.  If I didn't obey them, I'd be able to give more to the church and get there on time.  Does that mean I don't have to obey those laws?)

Sorry no I will not it isn't about safety in the least. How does paving a parking lot impede safety without a piece of paper magically making it safe? It gets so asisnine that even if a building were completely complient with all laws zoning and safety that just not paying for a permit despite being 100% otherwise compliant would make a building illegal to occupy into perpetuity, no matter how safe. You cannot convince me that is about anything but money and blackmail. In fact I never would have guessed paving a parking lot would require a permit as that is MAINTENENCE NOT CONSTRUCTION.

Immigration laws are against love your neighbour actually, they are narcissistic ethnocentric and once again not even constitutional.

Oh, so you wouldn't mind buying a building that was built without permits?

Immigration laws are against love your neighbour actually, they are narcissistic ethnocentric and once again not even constitutional.

And you don't mind immigrant criminals and terrorists moving into your neighborhood?

But you don't seem to be addressing the point of a Christian organization or its members considering themselves above the law when the Bible says to submit to your governing authorities.  The wmscog chooses to disobey that command of God?  Even though you claim it obeys all God's instructions and commands.
