HI fellow members,
I had been a member of this church for a little bit over a year.This church was introduced to me by my ex girl-friend. But to make the story short this so called true church is letting their female member marry the brother just for sex. There was this sister on the church that was in a relationship with a brother and since the brother was not a believer no more she decided to end their relationship. after a few months after their break up she wanted to get back with him but he said no. A short while after she was texting him to get married with her because she could not hold it no more(sex) but the brother said no that he would not marry her for sex. I found out a week ago that this sister told pastor her problem about wanting to have relations and pastor approved a marriage between her and another brother that was really good friends with the ex of the sister.smh. This church is letting these poor lost young adults get married purely out of desire and not love.

I know of some arranged marriages as well. Those people didn't even know one another before they were married. That's disgusting.
If I was a cult leader, I would arrange marriages too. The people whom I arranged to be married, due to their lack of any real romantic connection, love or devotion to one another, would be totally devoted to me and still be allowed to spy on one another and keep each other in line should any doubts about me and my real agenda arise. They would go out together to recruit more members for me. They would spend countless hours working for me and neither one would feel any type of abandonment. Perfect.
Shimon, I think you need to take a closer look around.
I know of some arranged marriages as well. Those people didn't even know one another before they were married. That's disgusting.

nonsense, A LOT of the arranged marriages are between two americans and those between Koreans and Americans will happen after they have been legally in the country for a long time.

Sorry Shimon but I witnessed an arranged marriage between a Korean member, who had only been in the country for a few weeks, and an American member. Which means that the couple couldn't have known one another for longer than that either. I mean the Korean guy barely spoke English so I can't imagine how they would communicate effectively. Marriage for love? I don't think so. Sad and pathetic.
