Leah Remini asked the church questions they didn't like.

After 30 years as a member of the Church of Scientology, actress Leah Remini has left the building.

The  "Old School" and "King of Queens" star finally called it quits after years of questioning the religion's  treatment of followers and  the leadership of David Miscavige .

Sounds like she has something in common with us. It shouldnt be upsetting to any church when a member asks an uncomfortable question. If it makes the church or you uncomfortable to ask a question, then something isnt right…and maybe you should re-evaluate your membership.

I remember saying I thought Zhang was the high priest (City of Refuge) and we were waiting on her to die so we could go to heaven. Man did I get reamed for saying mama was going to die. It didnt make sense to me that if Ash was already dead then Zhang had to be the one who needed to die so we can escape from the city of refuge. That incident was one of many that had me reevaluating my staying in the church.

Yeah, I don't really like her, but good for her.

Now all we need is Tom and John and everyone's out. ๐Ÿ˜› Srsly I think Tom's the only reason people join their church. If he leaves and decides to go public they're done.

Go Tom! We're with you. ๐Ÿ˜› Stop sniffing your farts and come back to your senses :))

Remini will no longer tolerate the squirreling and human rights abuses perpetrated in the church. Nor will she allow anyone to tell her who she can and cannot talk to or associate withAs a result, the church has lost one of its most effective supporters — both in the public relations arena and their bank balances.  Hello Ron and Diane huh ?  Yeyy for Leah and she's Beautiful with a capital B.

I don't know that they'd be done as I assure you they would make up some Bullshit, just like our pals using the same age old tactics.  See how everyone, even the ones that came out at the highest levels, hello Ron and Diane, are now ostracized  as if they were some kind of kooks.  They weren't spoken about like that when the cash was a-flowin' because of their work, now were they ?

"Send em back to Seoul" should be our new slogan.  I'll have to take that up with the hight counsel, although I could just issue an Executive Order.  Nah, I'll call a meeting of the High Counsel.  I don't want to get drunk off the Wines of Power.

Here is a really awesome expose on Scientology that the BBC did a few years ago.

    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rJkQdLTJWwo

FF to 38:45 former member talks about how Scientology discourages members not to read any critical info about the "church" on the internet…sound familiar?

I read another article today about her former church beginning a slander campaign about her. I guess they’re going to expose things she may have said in confidence to church leaders.

Why is it with Scientology & WMSCOG that they feel the need to slander people who decide to leave? It’s almost like an unspoken threat to those still inside. Many are afraid to leave because they know the church will tell the members lies about them. I have heard the church told lies about me after I left. But guess what…I don’t care. Trust me when I say I will have the last laugh.

They told people rumors about me too after I left.  I think they do that because they don't want their members to think that there would ever be  a legitimate reason to leave.

There can't be anything wrong with the wms so there must be something wrong with the person that left (sarcasm).

When ppl started leaving my location I actually believed the lies they told. I honestly thought they had weak faith. I just prayed for those who left hoping they would come back before “Father” came. That is until I came to my senses LOL.

Yes Same thing happened to me. When I left the church the very next day church arrange a meeting among leaders. they spread many lies against me. members were told even not to look at my face. so since then member avoid me, but I am thank ful to god for this action.

2 cor 12:7 And lest I should be exalted above measure through the abundance of the revelations, there was given to me a thorn in the flesh, the messenger of Satan to buffet me, lest I should be exalted above measure.

2 cor 12:8 For this thing I besought the Lord thrice, that it might depart from me.

2 cor 12:9 And he said unto me, My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness. Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me.

Thank you lord almighty you brought me out of WMSCOG.

When they can't think of something they probably say you're fat. I imagine members being like:

-Why did Renita leave? Is it cause she had little faith?

    -Nah… she just fat!

๐Ÿ˜€ I kid, of course. They're most likely saying you're possessed.

my time is far too valuable to research your every last post to investigate the issue and while I may assume that you know about that group, the most efficient and effective way to verify was to ask the question.

I find your reply to be disrespectful and offensive; a worthless waste of time that benefits nobody.  thanks for the lost time that I will never get back.  /sarcasm

Renita, It just seems unlikely that at this stage of the "game" someone with your knowledge would not know that scientology is a cult. That said, take it easy Q, me thinks you need to breathe a little sometimes…..you might be over loading the computer on your shoulders

It's not the bible, it's not a church, it's all in the mind control. Too much bible not enough mind control.

I recognized Scientology as a strange group when I was 18. They had a storefront advertising personality tests. As a joke a friend & I went in. First thing they did was separate us. After the personality test they tried to get us to buy books (Dianetics, at that time). We ran out. There was no bible involved so I have no idea how they qualify themselves as a church. Just some weirdo group if you ask me! I wish I could have viewed the wmscog with that same way of thinking! I dodged one bullet only to get hit by another one ๐Ÿ™

Don't need a Bible to be a church, only to be a christian church

    ^^^^

Well consider me an idiot. I didn't know about Scientology until I transferred to WA on orders. I saw a building there and asked my group leader about. After I learned about, I never did any kind of research on it. Excuse me for not knowing the obvious..
