If you go to     http://www.kansas.com news you will see an article in the Wichita Eagle entitled "Students told to avoid a van and men in black suits" or something to that effect.   Apparently the Wms has been trying to recruit on the campuses (and elsewhere), and when students won't take them up on their creepy invitation to get in their van and go to a "Bible Study" they get insulted and yelled at!  Not only has the paper picked it up but also the tv station, KAKE tv in Wichita.  The new reporter on the tv station said to call 911 if they are approached by these people, and identified them as being from the World Misson Society Church of God.  They apparently contacted the pastor of the church who appeared to be very much in denial about their aggressive recruiting methods.  Go figure.

Folks, they are becoming more apparent and that is a good thing.  A couple years ago they tried to stop a man at Lawton University in Oklahoma from exposing them on campus.  He was circulating flyers saying that in his opinion they were a cult and not to be taken in.  The wms went to the head of the university and tried to have him stopped.  Although the university told him to stop, he filed a lawsuit stating it was free speech and they were infringing on HIS religious beliefs and he won the suit!  He was allowed to distribute the flyers and warn people about them.  This was a precedent, folks.  We do NOT have to keep quiet when we see them recruiting.

What I liked about the tv report was that the reporter said the police advised students who were approached by these people to just walk away.  He said that the police advised that if they were further harrassed to call 911.

Really, a 39 year old man was yelling at 18 year old girls/boys on a college campus who would not get in his van and go with him to a Bible study?  Who would not report that?  What were they thinking?  The parents of these young kids are probably very alarmed, as anyone would be.

I remember a post a few years ago about a guy who went with some aggressive recruiters from the WMS in the east coast area.  Similar in that he was given a ride there, not allowed to go on his own.  He was knowledgeable of the Bible, and when he argued with them, disproving their points, they brought in the pastor.  When he argued with the pastor the pastor became so angry that he was summarily kicked out of their building!  He asked if he could at least get a ride home and was told NO!  I don't think I would go with them in a van or any other mode of transport.  Can't disagree or they would leave you stranded.  I remembered this post because it was really kind of comical, Lol, but also very typical of the wms's behavior toward those who don't agree.  Everything is fine as long as you believe what they do, say what they want, and never have a differing opinion on any issues.

I think they have figured out that wouldn't fly here.  They have actually become very good at knowing where the line is and how to avoid being held accountable for their actions.  The pastors know that they should always delegate dirty tricks to deacons or others below them because then they themselves can keep their hands clean.  They have "plausible deniability," as one person put it.  "I never told them that, and I am not responsible for what my deacons/missionaries/recruiters did"  Yet many people have said that no one there does anything without the ok directly from the leaders.

Here in India mumbai they forcefully get people from the street just preaching Jn 6-53, saying that tomorow if the world ends you dont have jesus flesh and blood and force them into baptism, if they refuse they have special verses for be baptized immetiately. After baptism at once you are thought to hide things from your family or friends or you will be attacked by satan, but if you watch the full episode in mumbai it is like the sheep is brought to the slaughter.LOL.. because they they are so terrified looking at all new faces and the pressure they use to force them and then they are told to go into the bath room and remove all their clothes and even if a chain with a cross or rosary in the neck they are told to remove and the strage singing and a korean praying over them seems very fightfull. The strange thing is these innocent people have know idea of what is next like Father and Mother the new gods they are going to meet.
