Many people that come out of cult type groups give up on God. Here's what I've learned and why that's a bad idea. If there is no God then you have to believe that we simply evolved somehow. This is most commonly associated with Darwinism. If Darwinism is true then there are five inescapable implications. 1) There's no evidence for God. 2) There's no life after death. 3) There's no absolute foundation for right and wrong. 4) There's no ultimate meaning for life. 5) People don't really have free will.
Darwin himself disproved his own theory but this kind of thinking has been forced into our schools. I don't like the possibilities that exhist if there is no God. I know that God exhist and that he cares for each of us. Why do we exhist if not for our creator? Many scientist have come to the realization that evolution is a dead end. Every theory outside of a creator has fallen flat. In our search for answers the research continues to point to a creator everything else just produces more questions. Folks, think about the five implications above and ask yourself honestly: Is this what I really believe? Why would I choose this over a belief in God? Don't let a bad experience force you into a bad decision that banishes you to a life with no purpose. Jesus said, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one gets to the Father except through Me." Choose life and purpose please.
