Many of us keep wondering what the next lie the WMSCOG will tell their followers when Chang / Zahng dies? John 12:15 might hold the answer. The first part of this scripture reads, "Fear not, daughter of Zion; Behold, your king is coming.
About two years ago I put forth the possibility that the WMSCOG might creat a god the daughter. This would most likely be one of the women that live with Chang / Zahng right now. Father is dead, mother passes on, and one of the children carries on the mantle. Are we going to be introduced to god the daughter soon?
What are your thoughts on this possibility?

We all truly can perceive their is no god mother….. There never will be. Money is the root of all of this. Nothing more, nothing less. I don’t need to quote scripture to prove this cause if you are of God you will know.
In my opinion I think it's highly unlikely that they'll reveal another deity, but chances are that kjc will continue as the heir to the kingdom after all he was appointed by father. Odds are that all authority will then p a s s on to him and he will then (with the authority bestowed upon him by the almighty) will then also select his heir and so on and so forth with the end coming soon and all that…
I think God the Daughter would be quite improbable it wouldn't really fit in with their doctrine KJC as leader would make the most sense as he has both F&M's endorcement and is already the leader anyways
Damn, you guys burst my bubbles everytime anyone come up with a possible continuation of reign of the WMSCOG ..
I have hopes that this, WMSCOG, theater falls apart once Zahng dies .. I'm skeptical about it falling apart, though. The movement is all about money and nothing more as Sara013 mentioned on her comment above. If true, the leaders won't let the golden eggs fall that easily. Some weird prophecy that no one knew about will be revealed, and the poor members will continue to believe.

So, the WMSCOG says that Jerusalem is God. They also express that she is the Mother which means she's not the child, daughter. The only way a child can become a mother is if she has her own children. But God, according to the WMSCOG and many other types of believers, is not result of anyone or anything. God is the beginning. Meaning God cannot be a child, whether son or daughter. Then why is Jerusalem referred to as the daughter in Zech 9:9?
I was looking for other verses that said Daughter of Zion and this verse popped up. According to what I learned as a member, the Daughter of Zion is the church. We are called the daughter because churches in the bible are referred to in the feminine context (bride, prostitute). Given the rules of grammar, it is safe to presume that the Daughter Zion and the Daughter Jerusalem are the same entity. This results in Jerusalem being the church.

It is all just speculation. The one thing that may be counted on, however, is that all of the same behaviors and attitudes will continue. Including the members that have been around longer and know when they're being fooled will (exit or get kicked out for) want to speak out and they will be subsequently shunned so as to keep the new wave of membership innoculated to the past history and teachings of the group….because, you know, we have seen that happen already.

That is what I was told as a member about the verse in sermon that we were daughters of Jerusalem

Yes, we are (at least I used to be) the daughters of Jerusalem, the children of Zion.
I guess I don't understand how men can be daughters. I never understood how members could call their own husband "brother" either. That always creeped me out when I heard members do that.

Definitely! It was weird for me to call Anaya "Sister". I tried it for a couple days and just couldn't. She was Nanu. Lol.
But aside from the WMSCOG, all the churches I have been a member of looked at each other as brother and sister, married or otherwise. That wasn't new to me but it was still weird. I told myself I would only marry a Gentile. I can't see myself practicing procreation with a Brother. That's spiritual incest!
It's cause they're spiritual brother and sister, I suppose, but it still sounds like incest to me :
I can tolerate some stuff, but I can never get used to that.
Maybe they value their relationship as brother and sister more than the one as husband and wife.

The post Ahn phase of the wmscog was based on some alleged words and actions of Ahn which were not really in the public domain. Anyone can make the claim that Ahn annointed ZGJ as mother god/his bride and present an unconvicing photograph. KJC can continue as GP in the same way by declaring soemthing that Mother told him on her deathbed.

As also mentioned by Simon, I don't think this is a change really. I think control is already with KJC and ZGJ is a mere figurehead.
