Over the last week I have taken many verbal abuses from one individual in paticular. It reminds me of other encounters that I have faced in our forum. These other encounters I can fortunately say have resulted in friendships that I value. It's hard to know at this point if the individual attacking my character will eventually become my friend or not. Over the last ten hours I have taken steps both in the forum and via PM to make peace with this individual. God has His hand over all of this and I know everything will work out as it's supposed to. God's ways of doing things have not always been my ways however, I earnestly try to seek God's ways. I want to ask everyone for forgiveness for my part in the back and forth display you have seen here in the last few days. Those of you that have been around here for a while know that I can be a fierce warrior for God and a defender of the weak. I have watched and tried to defuse what seems to be an onslaught of character attacks from both sides. I do favor one sides oppinions and facts over the other sides. This comes from my research and experiences of the WMSCOG. I will strive to be better than I have been over the last several days but I will not lay down and let Satan have his way. I have made our cause to reach out to those who have been mislead look less than favorable and for this I am sorry. Once again I ask you for forgiveness and I will strive to do better. Joshua.
P.S. Please keep me in your prayers. Many times I comment from a loving position but once in a while my emotions get the better of me.

He did say it but he continued to waver. Immediately after that passage you quoted is the transfiguration incident in Mt 17. In this incident, Peter equates Jesus with Moses and Elijah. Does that show his conviction that Jesus is God? Clearly he was not totally convinced until after Jesus rose again.
My point is that you and angelwings are completely secure in your conviction that Ahn was and Zahng is god. Far more than Peter was at that time about Jesus. So you should not be too concerned if others say bad things about god because they will suffer the consequences if any. Just like all those people whom the wmscog claims suffer accidents and ill health.

I know I didn't care. Some of the things hurt my feelings but I was confident they would get their punishment.
FTOS, I'm feeling a bit ignored here. Can you respond to my question of why my relative says he "has" to go to Sabbath, Tuesday church,e tc., when you and others say it is not required but volountary? he doesn't seem to think it is. He doesn't seem to want to go, but thinks awful things will happen if he doesn't. Is it required, or voluntary? What will happen if he doesn't go? I don't mean all the phone calls and texts. I mean, do you think he is told there could possibly be anything like accidents or illnesses happening to him if he doesn't attend a Sabbath? If not, I will tell him that he doesn't "have" to go. he has a choice. He doesn't seem to think he has, and makes that pretty obvious.
Who ever said it's not required is claiming F&M to be ordinary people and NOT God. Anything God instructs us to do is a demand, not an option. You choose whether to obey the demand. Though disobedience is an option the Scripture says you will regret it. F&M 'said' the Sabbath, 3rd Day, etc. are requirements of the New Testament law to ensure your place in the KOH. If they were options then the WMSCOG wouldn't/shouldn't stress the importance of Sabbath being on Saturday so much.
Thank you Renita, for giving me an answer. FTOS doesn't seem to want to answer that, for whatever reasons. I think my relative knows that there is something wrong with this church. I believe he may want out, but doesn't know how to do it, or maybe even admit it to himself. He probably feels he can't talk to anyone. All his friends and acquaintences are now in the church, so how could he admit his doubts to them? But I feel strongly that he has doubts. We would all help him through his exit, if he would simply talk to us. It is hard, though, after he has been in there several years and has sacrificed everything to them. We are here for him whenever he wants to talk. We are trying hard to let him know that.
Thanks to the administrators of this site, who are heroes in my eyes. They have helped so many people, and their road hasn't been easy.
Yes, the Sabbath and the Passover thing have him trapped, I sense that too. But he never has anything to say when others have told him the Passover never went anywhere, that other churches have kept it all along, not just the wmscog. And he doesn't seem to understand that you aren't to judge others by the keeping of the feasts, Sabbath, etc., even though that is in the Bible, clearly. Some day, though. And we will celebrate his freedom with him then, you can count on it.
MM never intended to ignore you, I've been so busy fighting with Joshua and defending myself I wasn't concentrating on to much else. Sunday is for sun worshipers. There is no evidence in the bible that Jesus explicitly said to keep sunday, but he does reflect and speak about sabbath. Telling someone to believe in God or you will face hell is the truth, that is not a trap. If it was then all christians would be wrong to tell that to someone who doesn't believe in God. Even Jesus and his disciples gave clear examples of what leads to hell and what does not. Paul said even an angel from heaven or anyone else says to you something different then what he preached will be condemned, then is that a trap? To tell the truth is not a trap. Sabbath is an ordinance you have a choice but we are not going to lie and say you can still go to heaven if you don't keep sabbath, or passover. Jesus said whoever eats my flesh and drinks my blood has eternal life, whoever DOES NOT has NO LIFE. That means if you don't then you don't have eternal life. That is truth. Jesus and the apostle prophesied about sun worshipers coming into the church. And the OT they prophesied about how disgusted God is with sun god worshipers. If you ask for biblical or even historical support for sunday worship they give you twisted verses and unsupporting facts. Joshua had tried but all his responces are just the same, unsupportive of his views, he won't admit or accept that his views are false, but god said he would send a delusion that they would believe. hopefully he will see his folly and realize the truth one day but he has to become humble first and I think he has a hard time with that.
FTOS there are alot of proven points in your post, it's all in the bible, BUT one thing I do not see is Paul or the others preaching a mother god, that right there is a different gospel, therefore you will be condemned. Show me in the bible without galatians 4:26 where Paul preached a mother god and I will believe!
why should I take out gal 4:26? Also Rev proves their is a bride who is God, and Paul preached and confirmed that the bride in rev is our Mother.

because that verse is the number one verse WMS members go to in order to prove there is a mother God. I always hear members say mother is in the bible from begining to end.
Do you guys mean literally the first & last page or is she all through out the bible. I'm not getting smart here, I want to know the truth, I took am seeking for my salvation.
Please show me when you have time where mother is mentioned in every book of the bible, just a Christ was and is.

Folks, I want to appologize in advance because I really don't feel like tollerating any more of this and my replys to this individual may very well become negative again. I'm trying to show Gods grace but I'm afraid that even I have a breaking point.
Remember I said there is no middle ground ? This statement is exactly what I'm talking about. Forget about the Stockholm Syndrome approach. Can you just feel the hate, ignorance and arrogance with every mis-spelled word ? Still want to use Sugar, huh Genny ? You told me to be kinder or nicer somewhere and that I can catch more flies with Sugar recently. So I toned down the rhetoric . Now look at the verbiage he used on Josh. If he came at me like that I could understand. But Joshua ? Joshua has been nothing but decent here. He doesn't deserve that kind of talk does he ? So if it doesn't offend you, I think maybe I'll tone it back up. What say you ?

Feel free to keep up with this if you choose. When you decide to have a conversation with us instead of doing this perhaps we can start building something. We may never come to an agreement but your hatered and unwillingness to see the problems isn't helping your position. We're here to help.

Everyone on this forum means what they say Joshua, I meant it when I said you're talking out of you beep. Because that's what it sounds like. And your refusing to acknowledge sunday is not in the bible does show you have some problems distinguishing truth. But yes we should phrase our sentences differently. I try to just stay calm but sometimes you guys don't help and religion is a touchy subject. Also You have to stop thinking all attacks are directed on you. Me and other forum members can fight, If I say "why do you guys…." that doesn't mean all of you. It's exageration. I tried to not make you feel it was against you but to no prevail. I enjoy exchanging views with you. Maybe as we progress I hope that day will come again.
