Introduction

My brother and I lives in separate cities. Around September 2012, he convinced me to take a little vacation and come visit him. Because I  missed him and my little bro, I agreed to take two weeks vacation to spend time with them there. He told me he got a new religion. Since he was formerly an atheist, hearing that he began to believe in God again made me happy. On the first Saturday of my visit, he and I went to this church of his. His new religion is WORLD MISSION SOCIETY CHURCH OF GOD.

I went there with an open-minded thinking. I am not an expert with the bible and their words seemed to fit with the teachings in the bible at first. So I listened and take note of their teachings that seemed so new to me and I planned on giving their beliefs some consideration. At the end of the day, much to my surprise, they were saying that they are preparing for my "BAPTISM". I refused THREE TIMES. But they kept saying that it is important to do it now and gave me passages from the bible saying "Do not worry about tomorrow for you will not know what will happen today" kind of thing. Since I am not a person with a strong personality, I let myself be lead into it without further protests. 

That day, I prayed to God : "God if this is what you want from me, if this is Your will…I will accept it". Then I was baptised. To my amazement, that same day in the afternoon, my little brother (who was at home) experienced SEIZURE. He has epilepsy but haven't experienced seizure for many months now. This happening gave me a sense of dread. I kept thinking that it might be a sign. And it DIDN'T feel like it was a GOOD sign.

I had my own problems with my faith. Some of their teachings strengthened my faith in GOD again. But even though I am not a Bible expert, my English understanding is, should I say, above average. So I was puzzled by some of their teachings that I think contradicts the message of the Bible. At first I thought that maybe because they are Korean, their English is not very good. So I did my own reading, and with some help of the internet, I came to realize that MOST OF THEIR TEACHINGS ARE FALSE! Some of it really, really contradicts the Bible. So I wrote notes and questions and discussed it with my brother.

THIS IS WHERE THE PROBLEM STARTS. My brother, even though with all the proof I showed him, didn't believe me! He kept twisting the message in the Bible so that it would fit to what they are teaching. THEY DO NOT BASE THEIR BELIEFS ON THE BIBLE BUT ACTUALLY USE THE CAREFULLY CHOSEN BIBLE PASSAGES TO PROVE THEIR BELIEFS! 

So, with only less than TWO WEEKS to spend before I have to use my return ticket… I didn't have enough time to convince my brother from that false path. Now, I am here, much closer to God because of this experience (I started reading the Bible from the top to know God more) with a brother, who is moving farther and farther away from the truth. SO THIS IS MY IMPORTANT QUESTION: WHEN WILL THEIR PROFESSED "GOD THE MOTHER" DIE?!?! 

The WMSCOG believes that the END will come when their "God the mother" dies. They told me that when she leaves the earth, the LAST JUDGEMENT will come. So, the only way I can get my brother back again is when SHE DIES and seeing "PEOPLE GOES ON LIVING" will prove that they have false teachings and false gods. It might seem bad of me to wish her early death, but I think she caused enough problems that will last every victim a lifetime.

It wasn’t vaguely implied to me. It was said very clearly in a bible discussion about the what will happen in the. Father and mother are both christs. I was taught that christ mean god in flesh. We are to follow the example of christ. Father died and was ressurrected then ascended to heaven. That is the example of will happen to the great multitude. Mother will not die but will ascend to heaven alive. That is the example of what will happen to the 144,000.

I think I have so much information because I asked so many questions. After a while, group leaders were telling to give all my questions to my missionary but she didn’t want to answer them….

Genny, I am not sure of what they really teach. Because when I ask the wmscog members that I know, they said that when Ansanghong died, the Last Judgement is not yet complete because they are still waiting for their god the mother to die. I don't know if I misunderstand it or I was just given wrong information.

I just asked a brother in my class if mother is supposed to die like ashsahnghong and other people die. He is a current member and has been for 5 years. He said mother is NOT supposed to die. This is what’s being taught in santee zion.

That’s actually what a lot of people believe about their God. It’s not impossible for God to protect someone from an atomic bomb.

He doesn’t need to snap his fingers either. For people who actually believe in God, who are they to question how God should do something? Why he doesn’t it? When it should be done? What happened to gods thoughts are greater than ours?

 I always wonder about that verse, for my thoughts are not your thoughts and my ways are not your ways.  Makes me think outloud, you see GOD does not have to be like the family system we have on earth.  He is so much more than that, that if we think that there is another GOD who gives life(mother) than we limit GODs(fathers)power. He can do whatever he wants, whenever, and although we are in his image,we have to remember the 2 storys of Adam & Eve.  In one we are created in his image male & female, in the other story, Eve came from Adams rib, yet man is born from woman.

I thought the same thing about limited gods power which is why for a long time, i thought it was just one Godwho does the job of the father and of the mother. But you’re right, God doesn’t have to be like our family system. Which leads me into another question.. He has made his Devine nature known through what he has created. What does that verse mean?

I think your question pertains to the reason why God created us in the first place. He has made His divine nature known when he created man, who can think and recognize HIM. By creating man, we became aware of His existence and we appreciated His powers by seeing the wonder of his works. If God stopped at just creating animals and rested after that, nobody would still know that He DOES EXIST. The animals would just go around living and following their survival instincts.

The wmscog uses that verse to testify that god is male and female. He made male and female humans, animals, and plants so we could recognize god devine nature, being male and female……

This is just old info so I'm going to repeat this, God said that He would create man in his IMAGE and LIKENESS right? IMAGE does not mean gender (male and female), because if it does, how could you explain <em style=”margin: 0px; padding: 0px;”>animals having a gender?<strong style=”margin: 0px; padding: 0px;”> Did GOD created animals in His image too?

<em style=”margin: 0px; padding: 0px;”>Can you say "Oh, look I have two cats, one is female and one is male. How cute, God gave them His image too! See my point? So the image here actually pertains of giving man a SPIRIT, as God is a spirit and likeness means giving man a SPIRITUAL NATURE, which enables man to think for himself and have free will, which animals don't have.

One other thing, if we have a female god, and we are called Children of God, why didn't God just give birth to us? It was said that God CREATED man, not God GAVE BIRTH to man. But if you accept that there's a male and female god, you must question the method of our creation. Man and Woman gives birth to children right? Then why did God didn't give birth to us His children? Uhmm…Maybe because HE is not a FEMALE? I don't know if I am making a point here. But tell me what you think of this topic.

Now I always wondered about the animals being male and female! Just like you said, the image of god. But I read somewhere before the wmscog that god is a beast of every kind and half human……. there’s a verse in genises that says adams son was made in his own image, in the image of adam. What does that mean?

Oh I think I know the explanation of this one. Please consider this explanation. When Adam was first created, He was created in the image of God right? What is God’s image? (I mean this spiritually)

In the Hebrew language Image (Tselem in Hebrew)- is related to nature, the immaterial part of man. It means we have a spiritual nature like God, in a finite way. Likeness- (Demuth in Hebrew) does not mean in a physical sense. This means we have a spiritual nature like God, God is Spirit. Man has moral likeness and quality within him like His maker. But it is LIMITED. God cannot duplicate Himself because there is NO ONE LIKE HIM. A creature can never be equal to the eternal creator.

Anyway, God said that if they eat the forbidden fruit, they would die. They ate it and did they die? If you say No, then that would mean God lied. But Yes, they did die. Not physically but SPIRITUALLY.

Because of the fall, man died spiritually. Genesis 5:3 tells us that Adam became the father of a son in his own likeness, according to his image, and named him Seth. Adam was first created in the image and likeness of God, but because of his sin, he became his own image that was passed down from generations of man. So what was Adam’s image when he ate the fruit? He became sinful. And so he became the father of a son in his own likeness which was SINFUL. So people born from then on, are all sinful. They are not born from God’s image anymore, but from Adam’s sinful “image”.
