I really want to leave this church… But, I’m having a hard time in trying to leave because i build already friendships to the members of WMSCOG… And they know my address and always visit me. And they are conducting also bible study in my house… Due to some contradictions in the bible and their doctrine, i decided that i have to come back in my old faith, that Jesus is the only savior! nothing else. But, I’m having a hard time right now, on how i can leave this church. I try to ask many questions on them but they have the answer always. And they are also telling me that if i have questions, i will just ask them, and no one else.

Sarah2013ParticipantI know this isn't a comment for me, but I want to say this: Wmscog has just about every former members info, but you musn't fear them. Let your friends and family know you made a mistake and the things you are finding out about them that isn't corresponding with the truth. The more public announcement you make about these people, the more you will be set free. They may try to do whatever, but they cannot prevail. In due time, if you can move, for the sake of your peace of mind move – only if you can. Do not fear please. Your spirit is right. It is leading you to leave and be with the true Christ, Jesus. This churh is not just like the regular money making churches out there, but the sad thing is souls are being mislead due to greed. The false christian churches out there mostly do not profess to be God, unlike this one. They know in their hearts that a lot of voices on this site are speaking the truth but pride and greed will always prevail in a world governed by Satan.
Please Kim, talk to your friend or this person, the best way you can….. Jesus will back you up if your works are genuine and sincere. Not even a billion legions can stop God from protecting all that comes to him for help and protection. If you believe, all things are possible.

PAParticipantI'm sure that leaving will not be easy since you have developed relationships with people and have perhaps devoted much of your time and resources to the church. However, I will pray that God empowers you to boldly remove yourself from everything that diverts your devotion to Christ alone. In this case, Matthew 19:29 might be helpful: "And everyone who has left houses or brothers or sisters or father or mother or children or fields for my sake will receive a hundred times as much and will inherit eternal life."
I imagine that your friends will be expressively upset about your decision to leave; but your decision, I believe, will be a powerful testimony to them about Jesus Christ and will perhaps even lead them to salvation. I encourage you to pray for strength to do what the Holy Spirit is showing you the right thing is to do, for your own sake and for the sake of your brothers and sisters at COG. I would encourage you to continue loving them as best as you can after you leave, but don't in any way condone their decision to stay. Hopefully some day they will rejoice with you in liberation from the group.
Of course, I can only imagine how hard this must be for you, but be encouraged….you are not alone! Clearly, the Holy Spirit has been with you thus far….helping you discern the inconsistencies in the teachings and prompting you to seek a relationship with our living Lord, Jesus Christ. He won't abandon you now! I pray that He empowers and equips you to leave with grace, confidence and peace. Blessings to you in the Lord.

Dear, Saranhae
I understand your dilemma, and honestly I will pray to GOD to give you the strength you need to overcome your situation. You say you really want to leave, but friendship holds you back.
It's ok you can always still be friends, that is if they are truly your friends they will still be in contact with you even if you decide to leave. I have a friend there too, and although it's seldom now, we still communicate.
I can see that your real problem ( aside from them knowing your address or visiting you) is that they do bible studies in your home, so that makes it all the more difficult to come out, BUT it is not impossiable.
If you can see those contradictions then you are blessed, most members don't see it even when it's right in their face. It's understandable because like you said you try to ask them many questions and they always have the answer, BUT tell me how do you feel about their replie, does it still contradict their doctrine. Do you still have doubts.
Do you feel like you will be outcast, or rebuke because you can't see it their way, or that you have no faith. Please don't feel that way, don't do that to yourself. You should not feel this way in God's true house.
You have to stand firm in what you believe in Saranhae, and you said you have to come back to your old faith who is JESUS CHRIST, so be it. Do not be afraid to stand firm for what you believe with all your heart & all your soul.
No one should be telling you what to do, but yourself. You are an adult who is capable of making decisions on your own. Why can't you ask questions elsewhere, why do they want you to only ask them.
there is a whole world out there full of different opinions, options, direction, etc. and you should not be limited to it. Do what you think is right, and not what they say or I say. Please continue doing research, and don't stop until all your questions have been answered.
God's truth will always stand, and it is clear as water, there should be no doubts, or contradictions, or bad feelings, because GOD IS LOVE!
please read this, it will help you identify things a little more and give you the courage you need, to say, I want to leave this church, and it is my decision. We will be praying for you, May the God of Peace & Love be with you always guiding you, AMEN

Remember you have the control of your life (besides God of course) , don't let them take that from you, stand firm in what you believe in.
