From what I've seen, the saddest part of this organization is encouraging their members to cut themselves off from their non-believing friends and family.  They become so consumed in their new beliefs that it seems, everything in their lives before getting recruited loses any and all value.  

How many of your loved ones involved, or current members replying here, have missed family gatherings such as weddings, funerals birthdays, graduations, births, vacations or other special events?  How can "God" not want them to be a part of these huge milestones in life?  Their absense is breaking the hearts of so many people that love them.  It just doesn't make sense.

After a while, they don't even seem like the person you've known their entire lives.   The family member I know seems like a robot now when I see them, a person I don't recgonize at all.  

Hopefully these members know that no matter what, their families love them, and will be there for them when they decide the information and beliefs of WMSCOG does not add up to reality, and they decide to leave the WMSCOG.  

2 things that do bring me some comfort, is that I cannot find evidence that they are violent, and they don't believe in having children.  I can't imagine children being born into this craziness.

They do believe in having children around here and actively seek parents when preaching. But the non violent seems true.
