His birthday is actually tomorrow and I was gonna suggest we have a big party for him but then I remebered, IT'S JUST ANOTHER PAGAN HOLIDAY!
So throw out the cake, throw out the presents and never mind!!! (maybe stained will write you a birthday tune)

MountainMomParticipantOh, his Zion will probably have a cake for him, etc. They celebrate birthdays for sure. Inside info on that one.

MountainMomParticipantFTOS must be having a really long birthday celebration as I haven't seen him on here for a while. Or maybe he is out golfing, traveling around the country hiking or church hopping, as he likes to imply he has done. Who knows? He sure has a lot of time and money to do all kinds of things he wants to do while my poor son is trapped with all kinds of restrictions and very little money in his bank account to do anything. Why the disparity in the life styles of two members? Interesting.
Also, I am wondering how old FTOS is on his birthday. It seems like he would have to be 100 years old to have actually done all the things he says he has, and to have traveled as extensively as he says he does. How would he have even had time to work and spend 30 plus hours a week at the church like my son is required to do? Where does the money come from for FTOS to live the high life? Why does he have free time? It's a mystery.

HarryParticipantHey Mom, he's 31 and I don't think he "believed" in any of their crap.
I don't think he got fired, I think he quit and he can't say anything cause he signed a non-disclosure agreement

donttrustzangParticipantWhat is the relevance of this post?

MountainMomParticipantI guess underscoring that FTOS's church does join in pagan celebrations although they say us "outsiders" are the only ones who do. FTOS has denied this, but it's a fact. I personally don't think birthday celebrations are pagan, but anything not in the Bible is pagan to FTOS, or so he says. Anything of man's imagination I guess. Well, Jesus praised the woman who poured perfumed oil over his head and washed his feet when he was visiting. He didn't tell her to do it, and it wasn't in the Bible. It was of her own idea. God doesn't mind if we have our own thoughts and ideas, no matter what FTOS says. We don't have to be robots. God gave us these minds to think and be free.
