I’ve been enjoying my freedom since leaving the prison known as wmscog. I never truly realized how much of my time I allowed them to tie up, after all isn’t that their agenda. I look around at my friends who also left. Many of the young members that left are making up for the experiences they missed. I am happy to see them traveling, going to music concerts, going to amusement parks. Whatever it is, they’re happy and free. As for me, I’ve been enjoying my family and living life as I see fit. The church has hardened me in a sense I have little toleration for b.s. I can spot it right away and call people out immediately.
For those who have got out, I hope that you too will recapture your happiness if you haven’t already. I pray daily for those who are left behind, especially those who know what’s going on and still stay. One day….

Yes, it is very much their agenda. Mind control cults like WMSCOG work very hard to exert influence over how you spend every waking moment. That way they can pound and pound you with the "thought reinforcement" phobias and messages over and over again.
That's exactly how mind control cults like WMSCOG and Unification Church, and many many other cults, do it.
Congrats to you for finally working your way out. We are praying for the day our child will find a way out. We are sure it will eventually happen, but of course we wish it would happen tomorrow!

Here here!
Glad to see that we're moving on and beginning to enjoy life again. I can't believe I once thought that being involved in this cult made anyone happy.

MountainMomParticipantAfter people come out they often admit they were completely miserable while in there. Not once would they admit it while they were in. It was always "their own fault for making mistakes" or their family (the usual excuse) was the problem. NEVER the influence of the church or its demands. Complete denial while they are in.
