gennyParticipantTHANK YOU! Thank you, Diane, and thank you, Ron, for sharing your stories. I am inspired and have renewed hope.

angelikkeprParticipantThis is so good, finally people is talking about what really is the WMSCOG.

JoshuaParticipantI have spoken with Diane and the stories that she didn't share are so hard to hear. The way this group attacked her family is outright unacceptable. Diane has become a very strong person after coming out of the WMSCOG. At one time she did not want anything to do with God or any kind of church but look at her now. One day I hope to give this woman a great big hug and tell her that she makes a difference. Good on you Diane!

ElievalkyrieParticipantUhhrrggg, watching this video makes me relive my own experience again. The feelings I felt during my baptism are coming back, it's like a PTSD, I really hate it. You know what I really hate about the experience? The fact that I wasn't strong enough to really insist that I DON'T WANT TO BE BAPTIZED. I refused and refused and REFUSED and they keep insisting and the preparations (the water, the towels and robes) were already complete that I just gave in. I kept thinking that I should have tried harder, even now I feel regret. Undergoing their baptism really made me feel bad. I felt cheated, felt like I somehow lost my freedom. You know what's even worse? That they kept assuring me and petting my back saying, "Don't worry, it will get better, you'll see. It really is like that the first time but when you understand it will not be so bad anymore".
I'm a girl but feeling this all over again makes me wanna go back there and punch someone in the face. lol.

Sarah2013ParticipantI know, Joshua. She went through some changes. So sad. Diane, thanks for this video. Good job!

KFParticipantThank you Diane, people like you and Ron are the ones who make a difference, you are an inspiration and the hope that many out there need. God Bless you guys!!!
The truth will always stand! :))) in the name of JESUS CHRIST

ElievalkyrieParticipantQuoted from Diane: "You just can't date anybody in the church, you have to go to the pastor and you have to ask for permission and then he will arrange it if he deems it good"
Wow, even parents weren't needed anymore huh? Just the pastor? This sound a lot like the Moonies.
February 4, 2013 at 8:59 AM #52384
ElievalkyrieParticipantDiane quoted from Zhang herself: "A lot of the pastors are like that, don't listen to the Koreans, they're evil." WOWWWW! And bless Diane she recorded it!

SimonParticipantI remember when she left all the branches out of Denver told us about it and gave some story about what happened
February 4, 2013 at 9:15 AM #52386
ElievalkyrieParticipantWhat story did they give? Care to share?
February 4, 2013 at 9:46 AM #52387
john doeParticipantI remember Diane and I wanted to call her and talk to her but I did not know how to get her phone number because no one would give it to me. I left for the same reason she left and I felt bad when I saw on her vidio how no one contacted her. I did not know her that well but she did talk to me because towards the end of my time at the church I was there nearly every day. Diane if you read this send me an email even though you did not know me that well you were my favorite Deaconess and I wan't you to know that you were the main reason I left the church. You can do such good now that you really know the truth and I love and respect you so much for standing up for the truth and putting god first.
February 4, 2013 at 10:42 AM #52388
Sarah2013ParticipantLol.
February 4, 2013 at 10:49 AM #52389
mplParticipantquite astonishing….
February 4, 2013 at 11:05 AM #52390
john doeParticipantIm not going to post on this site anymore if people are going to make fun of me. You people are spose to be helping ex members of the World Mission Society Church of God and not making fun of them. I just wanted Diane to know people do care and by her leaving the church she did make a difference.
February 4, 2013 at 11:27 AM #52391
mplParticipantnobody s making fun of you john, you have to understand that..we all here share the same consequenses,,,,its just a little sense of humour
February 4, 2013 at 11:28 AM #52392
Sarah2013ParticipantJohn Doe, please understand my lol comment was not for you. We don’t want you to leave, I hope you know this. I am with you.
February 4, 2013 at 11:45 AM #52393
john doeParticipantSorry I guess I lost my sense of humour but I am still very sinsitive about this experience. It broke my heart when I saw Diane's vidio and she was so sincere and I care and understand what she has wen't threw (and you too for that matter). I think she could bring thousands of members out of this church because she is such and strong person. I have very strong regards for Ron also they are both very brave to be standing up like this.
February 4, 2013 at 11:57 AM #52394
mplParticipantyes john i could not agree less with you..
February 4, 2013 at 12:52 PM #52395
ElievalkyrieParticipantJohn doe and Mpl, welcome to the forum. I am glad to see many people coming to join us here. I would just like to say in defense to the people here that we are not here to make fun of wmscog members because we know from firsthand experience what they have undergone from the wmscog, but we are here to state facts and truth and because of our differences, conflicts can arise between us (you may notice it if you read and explore more forum topics) but please do not take it personally. You are welcome here and i’d like to thank you for sharing your thoughts with us. You can also share experiences, maybe in the process other members can read your experience and help those who are still trying to get out of the wmscog.

RahabParticipantThank you Diane, for your brave, honest and empassioned testimony. God is working and it gives others renewed hope that people can come away from this group. When my loved one was in the group, I spoke with Diane over the phone. She was so very kind and supportive of me, and was willing to share information to my questions.
Prayer does work :)! I have been praying for all of those who have been touched in some way by this group. One scripture that helped me through the difficult times with my loved one is: 1Corinthians 10:12-13 “So if you think you are standing, watch out that you do not fall. No testing has overtaken you that is not common to everyone. God is faithful, and he will not let you be tested beyond your strength, but with the testing he will also provide the way out so that you may be able to endure it.”
I would urge EVERYONE to seek Nd learn about the Grace of God. It will change your life! It did mine….and no matter what anyone tells you, know that it is a FREE gift from God which is for EVERYONE!!! “So too at the present time there is a remnant, chosen by grace. But if it is by grace, it is no longer on the basis of works, otherwise grace would no longer be grace.” Romans 11:5-6
Please understand, there are people in this forum who are hurt and who are passionate about many things. People cope on many different levels. We are not perfect, but we do genuinely care about those who have been touched by the WMSCOG. May all who visit here find the courage to offer their testimony. You are not alone in your struggles.
Grand and peace to you all.
