The WMSCOG is known for bullying critics and they've been on a lawsuit frenzy lately but now an Ex member is attacking back. On April 19th Michele Colon filed a lawsuit against the World Mission Society Church of God, Chang Gil Jah, Joo Cheol Kim, some missionaries of the church, and 3 businesses that according to the lawsuit seem to be related to the church (Big Shine Worldwide, Albright Electric in Glen Rock New Jersey and Lincoln Grill and Cafe in Fair Lawn, New Jersey). Damages are being sought for things like fraud, emotional distress, invasion of privacy and others. Read and enjoy!

Michele your attorney rocks! I’ve only read the first few pages so far but wms attorney will not get this case thrown out on a technicality. This was written out thoroughly! WHEN you win (cause I know you will) this case will open up a can of whoop a$$ against WMSCOG everywhere in the US! Thank you so much for all of your hard work! All of your efforts are much appreciated by myself (a damaged ex member). Ever since I found out the truth of this false church I’ve been praying hard that they will fully be exposed. All praises to God Almighty that he has freed us from the clutches of this group and allowed you the ability to do what you have done thus far!

Michele, you know from sitting together with me that we are with you. You've got a lot of stamina! I like the fact that you and your attourney have not set some kind of ludicrise amount for dammages but are allowing the justic system to dictate what is right. Trial by jury; you bet! There is no way that reasonable people will let this cult off the hook so to speak. If I didn't know so much about this group I would volunteer myself to be on this jury. I'm thinking that they are going to try and settle out of court. This is going to become too big for them to cover up. Nice going and remember that there are a lot of people here pulling for you. Wow Michele! I applaud you, not only for surviving what you have been through, but also for standing up to these people and hopefully enlightening those trapped in this farce. There are so many of us who stand behind you and appreciate all that you are doing to expose them!

The Ridgewood article referenced by Emily will be read by many and will serve to do exactly what the wms doesn't want done, EXPOSE them! People will be forewarned instead of taken by surprise, and they will be more likely to research what they are getting into. That's all people need, the heads up to be able to make an informed decision instead of being caught in a web. This is progress, everyone.
