Hello,
I have been told by a MSCOG member , yesterday 6/19/2013 they needed to have an emergencyservice because Mother says that this is the year the New Jerusalem will be completed. Meaning the world will end this year. Does anyone know how this is possible? The bible states in Matthew 24:36 "But of that day and hour knows no man, no, not the angels of heaven, but my Father only." Here is the complete passage: And then shall appear the sign of the Son of man in heaven: and then shall all the tribes of theearth mourn , and they shall see the Son of man coming in the clouds of heaven with power andgreat glory. 31 And he shall send his angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they shall gather together his elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other . 32 Now learna parable of the fig tree; When his branch is yet tender, and putteth forth leaves, ye know thatsummer is nigh: 33 So likewise ye, when ye shall see all these things, know that it is near, even atthe doors. 34 Verily I say unto you, This generation shall not pass , till all these things be fulfilled .35 Heaven and earth shall pass away , but my words shall not pass away . 36 But of that day andhour knoweth no man, no, not the angels of heaven, but my Father only. 37 But as the days ofNoe were, so shall also the coming of the Son of man be . 38 For as in the days that were beforethe flood they were eating and drinking , marrying and giving in marriage , until the day that Noeentered into the ark, 39 And knew not until the flood came , and took them all away ; so shall alsothe coming of the Son of man be . 40 Then shall two be in the field; the one shall be taken , andthe other left .

My friend, today one of my friend phone me. I was really surprised his wife told him from today onwards we are not in relation we must be separate. Please pray for your friend and his spouse. The wife will be full of regret when she realizes she's been duped and left her husband behind all of this nonsense. God Bless you.
There are couple of prophets in the Bible that their wives did not believe in the God of Abraham and the husband did not left them starting with Sarah who they love to talk and teach so much. Please do not be fooled and let your marriage be destroyed by human’s religion. If you really love someone you do not make them choose between their spirituality and you. Work it out and if your Pastor doesnt like it who cares? Who are they to tell you who to marry and who to divorce. Stop letting these people control your life.I am so over hearing this type of issues in the WMSCOG.

Sarah did not believe in the God of Abraham? Where does it say that?
either way, debating biblically we will likely get nowhere. jellybean, if you could address the actual social controls that get people to allow others to influence their marriages and divorces and the high correllation to abuse?
they believe because others believe. adding to the societal problem, people look to their environment for confirmation, not to question. when people question, they are in misery. the saying should be changed from "misery loves company" to "misery loves similar company". when they question they'll just go back to the same place where the misery began. its a vicious cycle. that's why I believe that its not the doctrine, its the control systems and thinking about it will stick, even though they go back.

She certainly believed in him she talked to him directly in Genesis 18

both have existed for as long as I was aware of the watv site

She did not believed in everything God said because when she heard that she was going to have a child with her husband she did not believed it. Abraham didnt left her because she did not believe. Her faith starts when she finds out about her pregnancy. However the fact that someone doesnt have your same ideas about a Patriarch or Matriarch God should not affect marriage. The problem starts when the members stop dedicating their time to their relationship and let the church activities overlap family activities. They start seeing that as a big sin, to spend time with the wife/husband or children. A whole day in the kids room is not time that you are spending with your kids just saying.
I found an old friend!! We hung out last night and tried to do as much catching up as we could. She told me some things that really angered me about my group leader in Santee Zion. She also confirmed my thoughts about why she stopped talking to me. She, just like everyone else, said I changed into this "F*ck the world. It's all about F&M" type attitude.
Having little faith and not believing as a whole are two completely different things. Don't mix em up.
The passage in the bible where she laughs is not sufficient to conclude that she does not believe in the God of Abraham!

Hey Smurf. Cut jellybean some slack friend. You do not know what her situation is. I sense she has her own spouse trapped in there.
Jellybean, I believe the better example would be Hosea and his prostitute wife. Despite all the sinful things she did, he stayed faithful to her.
Its about the controls, not the doctrine. they may appear to be the same but they are not. address the controls and do it in a way so as to not be attacking the group.
I don't think Smurf's attacking Jellybean. I think he's just frustrated with people reading into verses in a way that is misleading regardless of who's doing it. This I can completely understand. I got really upset with my instructor when he told the class 2:1 is equivalent to 1:2. I literally told him he was leading people astray. Really? Who says that..??
I was thinking, and I'm totally sorry about going way off topic, but on the ride to work today I recalled my Missionary explaining how we weren't allowed to do business with brothers and sisters. Was anyone else told the same?
