Hello,
I have been told by a MSCOG member , yesterday 6/19/2013 they needed to have an emergencyservice because Mother says that this is the year the New Jerusalem will be completed. Meaning the world will end this year. Does anyone know how this is possible? The bible states in Matthew 24:36 "But of that day and hour knows no man, no, not the angels of heaven, but my Father only." Here is the complete passage: And then shall appear the sign of the Son of man in heaven: and then shall all the tribes of theearth mourn , and they shall see the Son of man coming in the clouds of heaven with power andgreat glory. 31 And he shall send his angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they shall gather together his elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other . 32 Now learna parable of the fig tree; When his branch is yet tender, and putteth forth leaves, ye know thatsummer is nigh: 33 So likewise ye, when ye shall see all these things, know that it is near, even atthe doors. 34 Verily I say unto you, This generation shall not pass , till all these things be fulfilled .35 Heaven and earth shall pass away , but my words shall not pass away . 36 But of that day andhour knoweth no man, no, not the angels of heaven, but my Father only. 37 But as the days ofNoe were, so shall also the coming of the Son of man be . 38 For as in the days that were beforethe flood they were eating and drinking , marrying and giving in marriage , until the day that Noeentered into the ark, 39 And knew not until the flood came , and took them all away ; so shall alsothe coming of the Son of man be . 40 Then shall two be in the field; the one shall be taken , andthe other left .
Mayor and Governor get letters referencing 2 cults that committed suicide….
Think about that for a moment, for it is not me the letter was written to, which was my point that I should have made more clear.
If anything does happen out of this all it will do is increase the perceived "persecution", cause anxiety and loss of self esteem on behalf of the members which will be ripe for more "us good" "them bad" combined with more intense fear indoctrination, which drives people back to the group – only deeper. In other words, a self-fulfilling prophecy of whatever John Lee pleases. imho.

The church is not promoting suicide in any way. I did have a scary thought recently, if the "truth" as you call it here, ever does become public knowledge beyond a shadow of a doubt to everyone, how will those more fragile or most devout members react? I personally don't want to think about that. sorry, I'm not trying to upset anyone
What I'm more scared of the church of god are the fanatics. Some people are not that mentally stable and when they drill in them that they are being persecuted, that the world hates them, that they are in a war, they can do some crazy stuff.
I'm sure WMSCOG is anti-suicide, I don't think it will happen. But I'm also sure that if they are in korea and 'mother" asks them to drink the koolaid, they would do it, because "mother" said it. I'm sure wmscog members would say "mother would never ask that", and maybe she wouldn't, but if she does, i'm sure they would take it, I know I would have. So even though it sounds pretty bad, I think I understand the state of mind you have to be to do something crazy, and church of god is not far from it.
I agree with you Scuba. I don't think the church wants people to commit suicide. How do you get money out of dead people? But I agree that if the mother told them to do it at some point, some fanatics would. I know some who would, for sure, if asked.

Even if it means slipping some cyanide into the passover wine while it's being "blessed". That's the beauty of suicide – it doesn't have to be consensual ๐

2 Cor 5:1-5 explain how our bodies are compared to a tent under which we are naked. This body will corrupt and be replaced by heavenly bodies fashioned by God. Rather than guaranteeing immortality for our flesh, it guarantees exactly the opposite. The way I see it, it contradicts their interpretation.
Is 33:20 can support their claim when juxtaposed with their belief that she is Jerusalem. But we know for a fact that their belief is incorrect. Time will prove they are wrong.

My confess, 2012 is said Only by Christain (New Religion) World Mission Society Church Of God. Mayan Calender never pridict about 2012, it is true that Mayan Calender was made up to 2012, now they have continued their new calender.
I can challenge WMSCOG, I can collect Thousand of thousand signature from the city that Christain have proclaim 2012. but when you go other churches they don't even know what is 2012. it is 100 percent conform that WMSCOG have spread this news because their churches are in 155 countries. who says 2012 is the last date which I was taught.
I also heard that in 2012 it would end, after december 2012, I was told the biblical year hasn't ended, (march-april 2013) The passover of 2012 would be the last passover, for me it was, I stopped going, (I didn't go that much) I didn't attend Passover 2013. It never felt right to go anyway.

I was also told PO 2012 was supposed to be the last one. Gizelle, the one who made the declaration to have me held in contempt, repeatedly expressed how amazing it was to have the opportunity to keep the last PO.
Yes I can remember the day. we were also told 2012 Pass-over will be the last feast. although according to zang zil zah video shown on 2013 January. She said 2012 has passed and new year is arrived but according to bible there are few months to complete, it will be complete on March /April. So at tha time most of us leader discuss and said mother told there are few more month to complete. I was 100 percent conform the world would end on 2012, because we were taught about 2012. later I waited few more months. but when end didn't happen then I keep on thinking many things and keep on researching about WMSCOG. then I knew many many things about church. Well If some thing is true in WMSCOG then there are also lots of error in the WMSCOG. So in conclusion this church is cult.
