Reading a post by Cephas’ Brother, I was wondering what people’s thoughts are on and end result with this organization? They seem to already have in motion a plan to sweep under the carpet the “end of the world” situation. So what do you guys think many of the members will do with the turn of the new year? It just doesn’t seem like a big dent will be put into this organization anytime soon. Smh
Hi to all… this is my first time in this website… As many thought that I had left "the truth" because of this website. However, I didn't leave "the truth" because of any website or anyone other than the church and members themselves…. As I read the forums, comments, etc, I cant think of anything better but to had left COG. Although I am still going thru my pain of some many dissappointments from this church but I cant stop being part of letting people know about this CULT.
In reference to this forum… about 5 months ago… I was with a Korean Deaconess I remember her saying how she was wondering if the 2013 Passover materials were going to be prepared. She stated that starting August of the previous year that is when they begin to prepare for the following P/O. But if this year is the end… then what….do they truly believe that this is the end…or are they preparing for next year's passover.
And if this is the end why are they so focused in these long term preaching and getting memebers to pay for "Mercedes Benz vans" with the excuse that its to transport members around….This absurd its funny how things have changed in 4 years…before everyone needed to find their own way to reach to Zion without being a burden, and now the NY COG is seeking to get contribution from the members to get high end vans…WHAT ELSE ARE THEY GOING TO SEEK CONTRIBUTIONS FOR…UNTILLLL WHEN?????????????? WHAT ARE THE TITHES FOR?

I started looking things up when I started teaching sabbath. When I looked up Sunday in the dictionary it said the sabbath for christians 1st day of the week. So I thought about if I were to preach to someone who already knew this, I needed to know how to counter it. I didn’t want to look stupid. So I started looking up other churches studies and arguements.. definitions.. synonyms.. etc.

I am very happy that you found your way out of the church. That is incredible what you are saying. Many have to walk or actually move around the place in order to get there. Many take the train for hours to make it and now they are trying to make it confortable. Finally they realized that people in New York do not need cars that there is a Subway! And is awesome that you found your way out after four Years. You are not the first or the last to get out there contact me if you need any help, feel alone, or have any questions. I know how you feel because I lived it and you Know I still care for the people that stayed there and the people strugling to get out.
No one should be preparing for next years PO because mother said this years PO was the last one.
