    Elohim

The WMSCOG misleads people by teaching that the Elohim creator is plural. The reason people fall into their trap is bc of almost every person’s lack of understanding the Hebrew language, & particularly, Hebrew grammar (which is understandable).
If the creator elohim being described in Gen 1:26-27 was indeed plural, the verbs used to describe that elohim being’s creation work would be plural.
As it is, the Hebrew verbs used to describe the Creator in Gen 1:27 are singular verbs. Meaning the Creator Elohim is not plural, but singular.
Compare that to Ps 82:1 This verse shows that the Creator (a singular elohim being; Yahweh) speaking to other (lesser) elohim beings (multiple Elohim beings).
B/c of of the verbs used in Hebrew, we can know that the Elohim Creator in Gen 1 is not plural, but singular. Thus, the WMSCOG’s distortion of the meaning elohim is just another example of what they do best (2 Peter 3:15-16).
