Doomed or not?

FTOS: I have a question for you. I understand your church is not the only one that persecutes the Catholic Church, but you guys do it with a passion. Here is my question, do you feel all Wmscog who observes and does everything the church instil are going to heaven? Secondly, do you feel all Catholic members (based on the way Wmscog speaks about them) are Doomed? I say Catholics because from my observation here, it appears it is believed to be the root of all the harlots. Not that I hold that school of thought.

I personally don’t believe all Catholics are doomed, the same way I don’t believe all Protestants (general believers) are going to heaven. I don’t know how it will be on that day and i make no condemnation. I don’t hold the key, but my belief is that all who believe in Jesus Christ stand a higher chance of getting in. So, I want to know how you feel about this based on your understanding. Will it be based on who they believe in to make it into heaven or the way they transmit their message to God. This question is about members and not the leaders of the organization. The leaders are a whole different matter all together. So what is your take without gearing this into who observes or doesn’t observe sabbath.

I gave you my thought. I could be wrong, so lets hear your thought from that other side. 🙂 I know you don’t like me much, but it’s ok. We might end up agreeing in the future.

Now shall we get back to Sarah2013's original post and its question to FTOS?

Yes we shall but just so there is no misunderstanding, I'm sorry i left last night before you all came back.

That said, Emil answered in almost exactly the words i would have used in both his posts

Perhaps my new found education is making me too suspicious of anything or anybody who says anything positive or negative without facts. I also have serious doubts about many of the "people" who are running the Catholic Church but as Emil pointed out this is not the time or place.

So let's get back to the WMSCOG

Great Harry. Just to clarify one thing I believe. "People" are by and large good. I do not doubt them as a rule. Everything that a person says or does is because of the entire gamut of previous experience. Sometimes there are real issues, sometimes they are perceived. That does not make them less real to the person. Jesus wants us to be united under him. That can only happen once we shed many of our misconceptions about other Christians and make efforts to understand one another.

On this site, we try to understand the WMSCOG while giving them the chance to understand others. In their case, I currently believe they cannot be called Christians in the same sense as we understand it, because they worship someone other than Jesus. Let us give them a chance to prove me wrong.

They don't call themselves Christians because they worship ASH and Zhang. They call themsleves Christians because 'christian' means to be Christ-like. Caring, loving, patient, etc. A vast majority of the members are this way at least to each other. Like I said before, the 'proper' term in their eyes to correctly describe their religion is Elohist, believers in Elohim God.

Sorry to say this but in hindsight I think your mom messed up too. She should have collaborated with the school authorities to get you properly oriented about the differences which came as a rude shock to you.

I agree 100%. Your response, as well as Harry's was very kind and well-spoken. Much appreciated.

Because they are both. Most Christians focus 'christian' on Jesus. But the WMSCOG focuses 'christian' on being like Christ, no matter who it is. Whether it's Jesus, ASH, or Zhang. They believe all of them are Christs because they believe all of them are God in the flesh. But Elohist is more accurate than Christian because of the mainstream accepted definition of Christian being directly related to Jesus only. Elohim 'includes' the Father [who is Jesus with a new name, ASH] and the Mother [Zhang].

Then they should be called Elohist. Not Jesus Christ followers. This is where Christianity has mix ups. I wouldn’t have even bothered with Wmscog debate if they didn’t mix Jesus up with ahng and Zhang beliefs.

I’m still waiting for FTOS on this question. However, you are free to avoid it. Not a problem.

for the record elohist is also misleading if Christian is Elohist still implies following God of the Bible

I feel if we are going to preach a different doctrine other than that which is in black and white in the bible, then we should not call ourselves Christians. That is, if the bible is what we preach from, yet interpretation do not line up with the teaching of God/Jesus. The Muslims have done this; maintain their own doctrine, church of Scientology, Buddhist, and the like. Though we may disagree in who or what we believe in, they have maintained their own beliefs and kept at it. we don’t see them preaching or teaching out of our bible. They have their own Quran and so on based on religion.

When we now introduce a different teaching other than that which is clear in the bible, and appoint it biblical, then people like me and the rest who disagree will challenge it. It will be viewed as deception – lies

Sorry to disappoint but half truth, if such is even the case, is no truth at all. Either Jesus is the son of God and is God or Zhang and Ahang are gods.

I am 100 percent convinced they are not. Same way I am 100 percent convinced that Jesus died, was buried, rose and ascended into heaven. He said it is finished. Therefore, He will not die twice for mankind.

Not saying you are wrong mind you just they won't see it that way, in fact they probably think YOU shouldn't call yourself Christian

That is the thing of false religion. There is only one person that said he is God and is not in the grave right now – Jesus Christ. All claiming to be Christ will be proved false in due time. God talks the talk and backs it up. That’s why I love Jesus.
