    Interesting stories of people who left a very similar church.

    After attending a cult awareness program ! The boston movement/International Church of Christ have almost the exact same similarities in recruiting, money, leadership, fellowship and teaching styles.

    Since the Koreans are known for copying ideas and books, makes me wonder if they copied this church’s style.

    Growing up I made friends with two different kids of Korean decent. One of the kids was the offspring of a Korean lady and an American servicemember. The othe kid was full Korean. One day I was talking to one of the ladies when she revieled to me that she did not want her son to be around anyone other than Korean kids even though he was only half Korean. I asked why and she very bluntly said that the Korean people were the most perfect creation to ever bless the earth with the imprint of its foot. This was one of my first experiences with racism. I asked my other friend mom if this was the way Koreans felt. She said that she was brought up with this kind of idea however, after moving to America and learning a lot about our culture she no longer believed it. I don't have feelings one way or the other about this but to think that racism is foolish in any form. I hope this little story open up some insight about what we are dealing with inside of the WMSCOG. I would hope that the Koreans running this group are not so narrow minded but I can't be sure.

    @Joshua
    ,

    At the branch I used to go, there were quite few Koreans, of course Pastor Lee was one of them. None ever spoke to me. I did not see them speaking or sharing even a smirk with anyone in there. They were always secluded. Those despicable humans never bonded with anyone in the room, unless it was to be noisy .. even for their Saturdays big lunches …

    My significant other told me that they just let us be because we're among each other and they don't want to impose, since they are the pure elects. Seriously, I was told that…
