COUNT DOWN

Honestly, I am doing a count down….I really can't wait till Dec.31 it's going to be a very special day.

All this talk about the world ending in 2012 is really getting on my last nerve.  People I know have just quit college, saying that it's not worth it since the end is coming, they are going to heaven and they don't need to study.  I don't doubt that father is coming, I know he will, but the time or the hour no one knows, not even Jesus or the angels, only God Almighty!(OH i keep forgetting Mother is God)…..

This sounds just like that Harlod Camping man story! when will people learn, that man can not tell God when he is going to come.  Seriously speaking,  for this church to be saying this, they must have a PLAN B if 2013 gets here & we are all still standing.  It also seems as though the Mayans calendar has something to do with this.

what are they going to tell the members, that mother prayed to God not to come yet, because the children are not ready?  I heared this one before! or is mother going to move to the ends of the Earth where no one can find her.

or what is it then…that south korea knows, that north korea is up to something, and so this is why they say the end is coming.  They know the koreans are going to start the WW.

I would like to hear from a member, who can honestly answer this question, Would you still believe in mother, if nothing happens at the end of 2012, would you still stay in the church, even if they tell you something that makes sense to you.

Remember God can not lie, what he says he will do, so shall it be done, so think about it members, other members from 10-15 yrs have been hearing that the end is coming for years, don't deny it and cover it up…….how many times are you going to fall for the same line….God keeps giving you chances to act! and open up your eyes.

They will probably change their church name, and say they were being presecuted so much that they had no other choice but to change their name in order to continue the gospel work and find the lost children, and so the story repeats itself. just saying!

i have heard that some members are already being told that they misunderstood on 2012 and that "2012 is not the end of the world, but the end of preaching".

of course, they've told numerous people that I know for many years the world would end in 2012, and as you can see others in this forum have posted similar experiences.  i believe there was also a bible study taught at one point called "23000 days" or something like that?

of course when 2012 comes and goes, I'm sure they will say "mother asked for more time", or "we have until 2018" or something to that effect.  you have to move it forward a little bit each time you catch up to it.  they've been doing this since what?  1988?

one thing's for sure… on Jan 1, 2013 we should all throw a huge New Years party for all the former members!

oh wow how convenient, so if it's the end of  preaching that would mean no more fruit…… fruit equals talent……. no more talent equals……. no more tithe & offering.

either way they still loose! money or members……just saying!

I was always told (since 2010) it wasn't the end of the world but the end of preaching.

I was told that father was coming this year, I did not misunderstood, You were there for 2 yrs, I was under 6 months, so perhaps they were telling the newer members that the end was going to be soon, as in 2012, to keep us on our toes.  I have to admit…it was working, until they started to ignore my questions, and so I had to search on my own coming upon this site and seeing all this information.

I just want everyone to know that this site had nothing to do with my doubts, the doubts came while studying and by them not satisfying my questions, it lead me here.  The first picture I saw was of Mother sitting in her office all suited up with the title chairwoman of we love you foundation, oh how my face turn red.

The one I thought of as God had a part-time job in an organization that does not even speak of spiritual salvation.  Get the hec out of here! I'm just saying

i know numerous people who were told the end was coming in 2012.  it's just not homogenous across locations.

ahh.. you must be referring to this one:  http://eng.weloveu.or.kr/intro/welcome01.asp

yea, and as much as they preach about having to attend the Passover to be saved, it's not very loving of "mother" to go around in the "international we love u" foundation and not tell anyone about Passover now is it?

I wasn't saying you misunderstood merely that because at one point they said it wasn't necesarily the end they could probably revert back somehow

It's interesting how they seem to differ on this "End Times" prophecy from place to place. They're trying to make my girlfriend a recruiter currently, which wouldn't make much sense if 2012 was the end of preaching. She's been in the church since like 2008, and when I brought up the end of the world predictions she had no clue. She only told me that "no one knows when the end will come."

Simon/Shimon, I've been lurking around here since you started posting, I just wanted to say that seeing the way you've changed gives me hope that someday my love will be free from these people. Thank you so much.

My friend was also my girlfriend. I know exactly how you feel. Good luck and I hope that your better half sees the group for what it is.

Glad to know I'm not alone Hal. If you don't mind me asking, how'd it turn out for you? My girl is pretty smart, college educated even. It's amazing, and so frightening to me that good, honest people who only wanna do good in the eyes of the creator are mislead by groups like this everyday. I didn't know my girl when she got "in the truth", and it makes me wonder as to the mindset and emotional disposition of the people that enter this group.

The few times she's talked about it, she sounded really happy to have converted atheists especially, and also catholics. Is there a specific type of person they go after? Do you know how they deal with marriage to people who aren't "in the truth" ? She's mentioned marriage, kids even, but only if they were baptized and went to the church. I'm not so keen…I guess I'm just rambling at this point, but it's so nice to have a forum to talk about this lunacy. I think about it alot.

Yes my friend told me to prepare emergency kits and store food last year, talking about the end coming, well when Jan.1 2012 came and left I told him, well what happen we're still here, his response, it's still 2012 till Dec 31, so I agree and told him, your right, but what if Jan 1, 2013 comes and we are still here, he responded then this is false, and I would leave, but that's not going to happen. I said OK! and that was the end of that conversation.  I do hope that what ever happens, everyone makes the right choice.

they always not very clear about their statement about the end of the world since it would be easier for them to deny it if it turns out nothing happens, some former members told me that they always been told about it in half whispered secretive ways.

I dont feel confortable to disclose the location however what they do is to rent a two room appartment or three room house and members that are not married live together and share the expenses• This is coordinated by a leader of each gender• So sisters live with sisters and brothers with brothers•Also they do not put to live all the weak ones together so is very well organized by faith and income

some sion in asia is like a dorm and sometimes it housed a small group of just new recruited members from other country althought mostly group from korea, young kids in their highschool or collage years,  it supposedly for strenghtening their faith but i think its just how the wmscog alienate and brainwash them.
