Well…I was given a link today. It exposed the dirty deeds of the Missionary of NJ Zion (Richard Whalen). When he isn’t keeping Sabbath, he’s at the home trade shows hawking his business Albright LLC. So how the heck can they tell us how important Sabbath day is when they’re not being good examples. I bet the church members were told he was out of town or keeping service at a house church. What liars!

somewhat of a necro-bump, but here goes:

 

Some recent reading on sociology and locations led me to ask some questions.

Locations can be most simply divided into front and back.

The front, like a theater stage, is for everyone to see.  Backstage is for the stagehands, and equipment for which the play needs in order for the theater to operate smoothly.

Backstage are usually the places where regressive behaviors occur.  Examples are: sexual innuendo/sexism, informal dress, 'sloppy' sitting or standing posture, substandard speech, shouting, belching, rules violations.

Besides the topic of the OP, does anyone have a story of how people getting "special treatment" got "special treatment"?
