Kai TIngParticipantI am now genuinly afraid that this radical group based on religion may now pull the trigger and start a religious war in the name of fulfilling prophecy.

MountainMomParticipantI thought attending the Passover already insured that they were safe. What happened to that assertion? They won't start a war, I'm sure, because they need money pouring in from members. They have to keep them preaching and contributing. That's where their energy will continue to go. And, of course, damage control from being exposed left and right!

Jesus_will_set_u_freeParticipantThe World Mission Society is having weekly free seminars and would like to invite the local community to discuss safety through the word of God.
How can we protect ourselves and loved ones from the latest disaster and terror threats? The knowledge we will share is very timely and important for discussion among the local peers.
LOL, this people are so funny, the knowledge they will share is very timely and important, right, what knowledge can you share that i don't know… that if i don't get baptized immediately i won't go to heaven, that God forbid i can get in a car accident or get killed by someone else, in this case a terrorist attack?? please give me a break… the only knowledge you have is working fear tatics into people so they can fall for your upside down theology.

I also tend to think that they are just taking advantage of media histeria and using the potential threat of a terror attack as an oppurtunity to preach the passover. Here is how their "seminar" will go: 1) the attendees will all be seated in the sanctuary 2) A korean, or an american who tries to sound like a korean, will thank everyone for coming 3)they will then play one of their cheesy propaganda videos about the "power of the passover" 4) they will invite the remaining attendees who have not walked out for some free food and love bombing 5) with any luck, they may have a baptism or two by the end of the night

Brian TaylorParticipantHere is a link to a webiste posted in the link at the begining of this thread. http://www.cog-dc.org/seminars it basicly confirms everything I said in the previous comment.

Right, MountainMom — they teach that the Passover protects from harm and from the dreaded last plagues. BUT only 144,000 will get to go to heaven alive with 'mother'? What happens to the other million+ who have taken the Passover with the promise that it will keep them safe? (I think the answer is obvious…)

UntouchableJParticipantThis is a tactic that only has 2 purposes;
1. To look good in the eyes of the public
2. To recruit new members

UntouchableJParticipant@genny WMS claims that although they are well over the 144,000 mark, the 144,000 are those who will go to heaven not having seen death. The others will be apart of the great multitude.

I can remember an extremely long and detailed study about the 1st death and the 2nd death. They went on to claim that the 1st death is the death of the flesh and that the 2nd death is the death of the spirit (as claimed by the book of revelation) and then through much biblical hospcotch and lobbying you were lead to believe that all would be treated fairly and that the original premise of the passover protecting you from ALL disasters is then forgotten.
The idea of the great multitude is complete and utter BS and it nulifies the protection and premise offered by the feast. Because the promise was that ALL disasters would PASS OVER how then can death not "pass over" some and all of a sudden there is the great multitude?

UntouchableJParticipantI remember never getting an accurate explanation for those who loved during the, “Dark Ages”. As WMS explains, since there was no passover, there was no hope of Salvation for those in that time. So, where no “former Angels” born in that period, or did ASH simply condemn those who could have salvation to hell?
