I commented on this on another thread, but I decided this one needs a thread of it's own. The Chicago Zion in Naperville is a huge facility. It is one of at least three that the Wms has there in that area. One in Cicero, one in Bloomingdale, and then the one in Naperville.
Five or so years ago the "Mother" when the delegation from Chicago went to "see God" in South Korea, she told the members (through an interpreter, of course) that they were being sent on a mission to save Chicago. They were to form at least 20 churches there. I thought at the time that this was kind of wierd because these members believed the world was ending in 2012, and they had very little time to be forming new churches. But, of course, they just focused on her message, not the huge contradiction it presented.
The church in Naperville is one of the, if not the, largest in the midwest area. I am sure that there are some parents suffering, and some others as well, who have lost their kids or their significant others to this cult there. Why are they not speaking here? It isn't because they aren't devastated. I know they are. I've heard about it.
So where are you, Chicago? What is your story?
