Ahn writes in his book "Problems with the New Jerusalem…":

Um Sooin fulfills the prophecy of the Jeremiah by claiming that she alone came down to this earth from the New Jerusalem and that people must serve her in order to receive great blessings.

[Jeremiah 7:18] The children gather wood, the fathers light the fire, and the women knead the dough and make cakes of bread for the Queen of Heaven. They pour out drink offerings to other gods to provoke me to anger.

Um Sooin claims that she is the only bride, the new heavens and the New Jerusalem. Through this, she becomes a queen and she receive tithes that should be given to Melchizedek. She raises herself up as if she is greater than God.

How arrogant and insolent an act is this? How long will God be patient with her?

Don't the wms members constantly talk about doing things for "more blessings", sending tithes to "mother" aka Zhang??  How is what the wms members do different from the acts committed in honor of Um that Ahn discusses above?

[Jeremiah 7:18-20] The children gather wood, the fathers light the fire, and the women knead the dough and make cakes of bread for the Queen of Heaven. They pour out drink offerings to other gods to provoke me to anger. But am I the one they are provoking? declares the LORD. Are they not rather harming themselves, to their own shame? " 'Therefore this is what the Sovereign LORD says: My anger and my wrath will be poured out on this place, on man and beast, on the trees of the field and on the fruit of the ground, and it will burn and not be quenched.

This prophecy is said to refer to the Roiman Catholic Church worshipping Mary but it becomes more clearer evidence against Um Sooin.

How would Ahn NOT say the same thing about what the wms does when they worship Zhang?  According to Ahn, the wms is cursed!

So why wouldn't the wms members believe what Ahn wrote over what the wms says about Zhang?  Since most learn about him being "god" before they learn about Zhang.  Wouldn't his words be the ultimate authority?

As a member you would have to decide who is the liar…Ahn [there is no mother god] or the wms/Zhang [there is a mother god, her name is zhang and Ahn revealed it to us].

    Both cannot be true.

I hear the church has a “countermeasure” for this one. I brought up this very chapter in a different thread. They are trying to say that this refers to Isis and Asherah (which is the female sun god). Only thing is, they refer to Zhang as the queen of heaven. So again…they can’t have it both ways.

This explanation by Ash made it clear to me that worshipping in the WMSCOG was wrong. At that time I believed in everything Ash wrote and this book was no exception. It should be the same for all current members. You cannot deny what he says. He doesn’t say women like Um Sooin, except Zhang. Meaning Zhang is included in the group of women that are delusional if they say they are Jerusalem who came out of heaven.

And also out of 25 books that he wrote only 1 that mentions a bride-this one. And it says there is no bride-god the mother. The bride is the saints. He had many things to write about in all his other books. If a mother god was that important he would have left behind a lot of compelling writings to explain about the bride.
