The WMSCOG makes a big deal out of two things; keeping the Sabbath and celebrating the Passover. For both things, I understand they teach that the catholic church abolished them in the 4th century.

I am starting this thread to discuss the issue of the issue of the Passover and about when and how it was abolished by the catholic church. I request wmscog members and former members to weigh in.

I am not clear about what the passover is as celebrated by the wmscog. What aspect of it was abolished in the 4th century.

Correct. He doesn't say it is by consuming the blood. But you're right, it kind of parallels Mt.

And Paul also talks of consuming Jesus’s flesh and blood in his letter to the Corinthians:(whether he had the same notion in both letters I don’t know)

He also talks about doing it worthily or not implying it has more meaning than just something you do still not sure if he’s linking them though

Thank you Hal. Your post is helpful and corroborates what I posted earlier.

The article says it was the day before Passover but gives the date of Passover for its keeping

Simon, I don't understand what you mean. The article states that there are two possibilities depending on which Gospel you refer. I don't see it specifying any date for its keeping. As far as I can see, it doesn't give any instructions.
