I was actually reading some very interesting things on Wikipedia about ASH. I know it's not really the most trusted source but it certainly made for some interesting reading
The interesting thing about this is that Ansanghong was baptized in the SDA church. In my previous forum "Seventh Day Adventist" I posted a link to a forum website of ex-members. The Seventh Day Adventist (SDA) has grown into a worldwide accepted religion/denomination. But how can people believe in this church when the church began with a breakoff of a sect with self-procalimed prophets who led their followers to believe that Christ was coming again on "said" date (there were several of them). The really interesting thing is that Ansanghong became a follower of SDA, which in it's humble beginnings was a cult with false prophets. Decades later, he makes his own claims about when Christ was returning, which were also proven false (another false prophet). Now he has been dead for several decades and his followers are proclaiming that the end is near. Even if the new believers were not told of the end in 2012, they are still being told the end is soon. One member told me that "Pastor said that mother has informed them that it is not a matter of when father will leave heaven to come for us – he is already on his way!" That was over a year ago.
Please people – Wake up! Ansanghong is dead. He is not coming back. Mother is not ill or frail or weak. She is the leader of a cult. You are basically giving up your money (again – the link above talks about people giving up all their worldly possessions) to guarantee yourself a spot in WMSCOG heaven. It doesn't exist. The only thing you are doing is creating a heaven on earth for a bunch of Koreans who are taking your money in a big scam!

Can we translate this? Maybe this will provide the date Emil is looking for. This is the document I requested validation of and the response I posted above is what I received.

I understand. I do hope the more evidence we can show to the members of WMSCOG on this site, the more they will see that they are being deceived.
Here's something else. The date of Ahn's baptism has significance for the wmscog in two ways.
1. Is the 37 years reign of David that had to be completed. (Anyway, I don't accept it because the bible says his descendent must rule forever, not 40 years)
2. Is the fig tree prophecy (which again I reject) about Israel being an independant state in 1948.
So lets look at the second aspect. The claimed date of Ahn's baptism is 16th December 1948 and Israel's indepndence was declared on 14th May 1948. It is the same year according to the calendar introduced by Pope Gregory who is supposedly the devil by the wmscog reckoning. So they should reject the Gregorian calendar (which they obviously do for setting the feast dates) and instead look at the sacred Hebrew calendar.
16th Dec 1948 is 14th of Kislev 5709
14th May 1948 is 5th of Iyyar 5708

by the torah the year changes 1/1 (the, beginning of the month passover falls upon)
by the pharisee calendar it changes 7/1 (yom teruah which the pharisees renamed rosh hoshana)

Just to mention this again, because this played a huge role in getting me out:
Well I was told by someone in the wmscog that we couldn't know for sure regarding the date since there are different information from different sources, so apparently what they say is that the only thing which is 100% reliable is the passover…..which, upon further research, was apparently kept on the wrong dates numerous times before as well (based on their own website)
We don't even need to dig up much before spotting their lies…sadly their information control tactics are pretty strong.
@kai Its amazing…they will debate anything that exmembers say, except the fact that they got the Passover dates wrong several times. I have another trump card. They NEVER show some of the “truth” books. 7churches sermon comes from “Church of Ladeocia” book. But members can’t buy it. Im pretty sure thats because they dont have the copy rights.
