Another failed prediction and another placing the blame on the church members. You haven't made enough oil? What are you all bridesmaids now? Why are you choosing to follow along with this? Haven't you been lied to enough yet? Your turn, tell us why this is anything but another bigger lie to cover up another failure?

jellybeanParticipantMaybe if you change in that sentence the word “oil” for the word “money” it makes more sense

KCParticipantit is translated that way 🙂

They always taught the entire chuch was the virgins in the parable and that they need to make more oil (aka preach)
I mean yeah of course it is a copt out but its not like its a new concept to say making oil
January 4, 2013 at 4:35 PM #50573
jellybeanParticipantpreach to get people baptized who pay tithes… (and other offerings) which is money oil=money
January 4, 2013 at 6:59 PM #50574
Cephas' BrotherParticipantWhere’d they say this stuff about making more oil? That’s seriously their cop out?
January 4, 2013 at 7:38 PM #50575
JoshuaParticipantOk, I get the idea that oil is preaching. This puts another question into play doesn't it? This cult spent so much time and effort last year trying to say that it was not the end of the world (which they claim "mother" never said) it was the end of preaching. Now they put forward that the members need to gather more oil ie preach. I'm sorry but I still obviously see the lies for what they are and as for the people telling them well, they are liars too. The end of the world? Nope! The end of preaching? Nope! Lies, Lies, Lies? Yup! The father of all lies is Satan and he is alive and well over at the WMSCOG.
January 4, 2013 at 10:20 PM #50576
SimonParticipantI was only told so far as a definitive thing the fulfillment of the feast of tabernacles and was never told distinctively what that means (cept if I reread the green book Ahn might say.
January 4, 2013 at 10:36 PM #50577
JoshuaParticipantI just don't want anyone being deceived anymore. Clearly there is more deception being thrown at these folks. I'm am losing sleep over all of the folks who are still trapped in this. Is there something more that we can be doing to get these folks out of this mess?
January 4, 2013 at 10:53 PM #50578
SimonParticipantIf we had the answer we would be using it right now! Unfortunately there is no proof WMSCOG ever predicted the end in 2012.
January 4, 2013 at 10:54 PM #50579
SimonParticipantChiseling at doctrine I think is our best bet for now..

JoshuaParticipantWe'll keep working my friend. I am really glad that you and I are working together on this. Thank you so much for your help and for your friendship. For the people who have been around the forum for the last year they can clearly see the testimony from the interaction you and I have had in the past. I thank God for you, your friend Joshua.
January 4, 2013 at 11:32 PM #50581
MountainMomParticipantAre witnesses proof? Don't juries decide on testimony? There are plenty of witnesses to the fact that they did tell members the end of the world was supposed to be 2012.
January 4, 2013 at 11:37 PM #50582
SimonParticipantNo witnesses are not proof, how do we prove we aren't liars?
January 5, 2013 at 12:16 AM #50583
KCParticipantoh for crying out loud! if ANY wms wanted proof, we should ask again… would they accept it? even when you prsented them with their own writtings or video they would just say its a forgery or thats not what they meant, its a mistranslation, misunderstanding bla bla bla, its been done in asia.
January 5, 2013 at 12:19 AM #50584
Reina412ParticipantI wish I had recorded my Deacon saying, at the beginning of 2012, ”Mother said that we are going home this year”. Well its 2013 and they’re still here!!! He also said ” Father told Mother that this was the last passover”. But I guess we’ll be expecting another passover this year, right?
January 5, 2013 at 12:23 AM #50585
KCParticipantand if they wanted a proof about the wms is only out there to get the money, EASY! ask them which religion ever pressed this teaching above anything else “tithing is the way to judge how deep your faith is”, so basicaly thats all there is… the faithful give money, if not… it must be the unfaithful.
every sion from asia to africa said and pressed heavily on that that to their members.
January 5, 2013 at 12:28 AM #50586
KCParticipant@reina
yea they said the same thing too here in asia, the feast in 2012 is the last feast…. ofcourse yea they dont directly say ” its the last feast cause we all going to get blown up”
but i think it dont really take a genius to know what they really means by “the last feast” “we ate going home” “papa god will come”
January 5, 2013 at 12:30 AM #50587
SimonParticipantWMS members will listen to proof hearsay is not proof
and most religions push tithe
January 5, 2013 at 12:31 AM #50588
KCParticipantbut then again those cons ofcourse is quite familiar and proficient in the art of double talking their own words.
January 5, 2013 at 12:35 AM #50589
KCParticipanthearsay? oh believe me its not a hearsay 🙂
really? other religion also judge your faith by how much you pay? gosh simon you mustve been hanging with the wrong religious people then.
