I was accosted by members of this organization this past week. I was polite as I do not believe in any god or whatever as Iam an athesit. After several times telling them I do not believe in the bible or any book as being "devine" or "holy" they basically stated that Iam going to hell with the devil.  My questions are:

Are they all insane or just certain members or areas?

    Are they all theolomaniacs?

Why do they go out and about on college campuses looking for people? No people in the area where the churches are?

so far as just saying you are going to hell, we never did that when I went. And the last question the bible speaks of preaching to everyone. but not threatening and being like your experience.

My relative told his Dad he was going to burn in hell because he did not believe in the "Mother."  His Dad had listened politely with patience for months, but had then told his son he did not believe in this religion, so he gets told he is going to burn in the lake of fire.  By his own son.  And was told that he wasn't worthy of trust because he didn't believe.  It was very painful to a man who is known by people as being very trustworthy.  It hurt him very much and was a wound that should never have been inflicted.  A lot of evil is done in the name of religion by this "church."

Some "fanatic" members can get like that. They enthusiastically welcome people who readily accepts their teachings and enthusiastically condemns people who do not.

Let's just say their going out recruiting in college campuses is part of their "modus operandi". I will not claim 100% certainty with this but I think they target younger generations to preach to because young people are more open to NEW ideas.

Just be glad that they made an negative impact on you, Mr.Smiles. If you got along fine with them, you might have tried to listen to their preachings some more and got deceived in the process. Not saying that you will instantly believe the deceivement but just stating the possibility.

they are NOT insane or stupid, infact they are THAT smart to use "religion" as a tool for their fraud.

Practice makes perfect and they DID have all those years of perfecting their deceitful ways. But nobody is perfect, that is why they do not succeed 100%. lol.

I don't think every member is in on it totally.  I know that some actually truly believe what they are doing is going to "save the world."  They were just duped.  Some know though, and they are the ones I have no respect for.

MountainMom is right. Nobody wants to be in a cult. Most members truly believe in wmscog and are ready to defend their "faith" to the death. But you can see how sick they are the longer you are with the wmscog. Just like in Steve Hassan's story, he said being in the car with his biological father who was forcing him to listen that he is indeed in the cult, it actually crossed Steve's mind to kill his father (or something like bash his father in the head, I'm don't have a good memory of that part of the story) and escape while he have a chance. Steve was so horrified at himself that he actually thought of that kind of thing but this is what cults do to people, it changes your loved one into something unexplainable, almost evil even.

Your statement made me think of the prophecy in the Revelation:

"He (the Second Beast) exercised all the authority of the first beast on his behalf, and made the earth and its inhabitants worship the first beast".

I'm not saying this as a fact but just stating the uncanny similarity. lol.

I don't say WMSCOG is 100% wrong but some doctrine are missing. According to bible in Rev:22:18-19 some thing is being added. we will discuss later.

No, I will admit that wmscog's teaching is not 100% wrong, some are right though we have to admit that they do deceive people and worship falsely.

But that’s what deceit is – a little bit of truth and made up doctrines. This is why they read the bible in bits. Picking scriptures out to their benefits.

Drzion, I would like to ask you a certain question, actually it is kind of like a survey, about the wmscog and I hope you won't take offense. I am asking permission first before proceeding with it, do I have your permission to ask?
