Hi guys,

It's been 3 years since I left this cult and went back to start over in life, but it's been really hard getting my life back on track. Having been the only one who left at that time in my branch (Cape Town, South Africa), I've had absolutely no-one to talk to who is a former member from that branch, and that has made the process of working through my emotions and dealing with things really difficult for me somehow because my family does not really understand why I still feel the way I do and still come back to this website years later.

It's been 3 years now so I think I've finally found the strength and courage to be able to talk about my experience with the church and I'm not afraid to reveal my identity at this point. So if there's anyone here at all who is a former member from South Africa (Cape Town especially) please reply or send me a private message. I could really use a friend that I physically know who was also brain-washed by this excuse for a church

Thank you to all those who reached out in private. I was starting to think that I was the only one from that Zion who left. Having people who are close-by to talk to about my experiences in the organization has formed a tremendous part of my healing experience. I cannot thank the admin enough for this website.
