I have heard from a very reliable source that the wmscog are telling their members about the end of all muslims and catholics in year 2012. I don't know the whole detail and don't really know what dire things they expect to happen in this "predictions" of theirs. Anyone out there who heard of this same issue from their wmscog friends? Please enlighten me about this.

SimonParticipantnever heard this wow 21 days to end two major religions of billions each lol
December 11, 2012 at 5:17 AM #49668
ElievalkyrieParticipantLOL. That's what I said. It seems that the "old" members of the wmscog is saying this for the past few years but now that 2012 is ending, they are not saying it to new recruits. [removed by admin for rules], I don't know how they'll accomplish such great feat. *chuckle
December 11, 2012 at 6:50 AM #49669
SimonParticipantI know WMSCOG people who consider all nonmembers catholic
December 11, 2012 at 3:18 PM #49670
MountainMomParticipantSo, one more time, they are saying that by the end of 2012 all Muslims and Catholics will come to their end (and some consider all nonmembers Catholic according to Simon).
If this is being said, then it is being told by someone in authority at the church to the members. From all accounts, they wouldn't be able to come up with this on their own as they have to only think "with the mind of mother." It likely came straight from the "Mother" to the pastor, and then was told to the members. Wow.
I guess I would ask if this is commonly being said in all the Zions.
December 11, 2012 at 3:51 PM #49671
SimonParticipantexcept different zions different non compatible teachingso who knows where it started they said nothing of the kind when I left earlier this year.
December 11, 2012 at 3:59 PM #49672
MountainMomParticipantWell, they probably said nothing about the Muslim Catholic thing, as it seems like a newer thing and you left earlier this year, as you said. Still this newer bold statement beinig made seems to be just another urgency tactic.
December 11, 2012 at 4:10 PM #49673
SimonParticipantYeah it was 6 months ago I started I guess around pentecost? seems late to make a bold claim as such but who knows lol
December 11, 2012 at 4:18 PM #49674
ElievalkyrieParticipantHow did you ever get to join them Simon, I'm really curious. LOL.
December 11, 2012 at 4:29 PM #49675
SimonParticipantIn 2010 I was seeking God, well I had been for quite a while and I had been praying about it because I had no idea where to begin. We had a snow storm so I was stuck at home, because I don't drive so I don't go out in snow unless its very short distance. and I got preached to so I went for a Bible study. Being raised both Jewish and Christian there was stuff in traditional Christianity I still cannot really understand, and they did away with most of those problems and so it made believing it a lot easier.
December 11, 2012 at 4:38 PM #49676
MountainMomParticipantYes, they have a great way of doing that. They start with real Bible verses, which we feel obliged to listen to, then give it their spin. Many people think only someone who is not very smart would fall for this, but that is not at all true. They get extremely, extremely bright, good people to fall for it. There are a lot of very smart, very moral people who fall prey. But for the grace of God it could be any one of us. I am just glad that you got out before they damaged you as much as they have others.

How long before you discovered all their lies? This is a good story, I like it…no offense meant, I don't mean that I like that you've got deceived, it just that I think God actually gave you what you wanted, but He detoured you first in this situation (encountering wmscog) so that (maybe) you'll be stronger in your beliefs with Him the second time around. LOL.

SimonParticipantit was march 2010 and I left 5/6 months ago
December 11, 2012 at 7:04 PM #49679
Love'n HoneyParticipantI was baptized po 2010 and left about may this year. We spent about the same amount of time there simon.
December 11, 2012 at 10:16 PM #49680
SimonParticipantSounds like a plan, a very stupid and impossible plan
December 13, 2012 at 3:35 PM #49681
MountainMomParticipantI realy don't think they have any plan in place. It's just another fear tactic to make their members continually think about "the end" in general.
December 13, 2012 at 4:17 PM #49682
SimonParticipantThere is no fear for them in that happening.
December 13, 2012 at 5:03 PM #49683
MountainMomParticipantThen why so afraid to go into other churches? Why can't they step into a bar, even though they aren't going to drink? Why say "destruction is near" in their sleep? When my relative asked his pastor what would happen if he missed a Sabbath day even once, the pastor told him of accidents happening to people who missed, injuries that occurred, etc. They definitely do use fear as a tactic to get members to comply. And this thing about the end of the muslims and catholics is another fear thing. Especially if the member has loved ones who are either muslim or catholic, which many do.
December 13, 2012 at 6:47 PM #49684
SimonParticipantThe idea of the end of Islam and RCC is them leaving the church not dying or something horrific (at least thats what they refer to the fall of babylon here)
December 14, 2012 at 5:06 PM #49685
MountainMomParticipantOh for crying out loud. So they are now predicting that all Catholics and Muslims are going to leave the church this at the end of 2012? Is that really what that is all about? Well, that will become obviously untrue very soon to those members married to Catholics, won't it?
December 15, 2012 at 2:13 AM #49686
SimonParticipantYes it should. but WMS backpeddles easily
