I happened to have the TV on last Saturday night and saw the preview for ABC 20/20 Prime. They were reporting on a cult in East TX in a little town called Wells. The cult is called the Church of Well and like the WMSCOG, has caused devastation to families who have lost their loved ones to this cult. There is a Facebook page for Catherine Groves and is interesting to read the comments. I feel for these parents; I am walking in their shoes.

Like the WMSCOG? They would certainly use that to their advantage, perhaps parading it around as some kind of fulfillment to cement the feet of the decieved. Quick question….. anyone familiar with the 7 thunders sermon might be able to add to this. If it's already been covered somewhere else I apologize, I'm still new here.
Bible- 7 Thunders spoke, but a voice from heaven said "Do not write it down!"
Pastor- "What do you think, brothers and sisters? Did God almighty make a mistake? Did he speak by accident or not realize what he just said?"
Brothers & Sisters- "NO!"
Pastor- "Amen! Brothers and sisters, does God make mistakes? Can God mis-speak?"

………..But Ahn wrote about 2012 and 1988 in the green book. It was later removed by Mother. The Church defends this by stating no man can change God's perfect words, but if it's God that changed it, then what's the problem? Mother did not want the members to become confused or fall away, the changes were a result of mother's love!
…So you are saying that God mis-spoke? God made a mistake? God's words spoke their way into writing. Then later, God said "wow… maybe I shouldn't have written that. They might all fall away! What have I done!? I must fix this quickly…Hurry, take that stuff out of the book! What was I thinking!" Now… This to me has to be one of the most blatent of all contradictions. God never mis-speaks (assuming he exists at all). I may not know what God is, but I know for sure what he isn't.

Citation? We know chapters were removed but do we know anything more than the vague fact that chapters were removed?

The wmscog always have the prophecy of Jonah to show that God changes His mind. Jonah prophesied that Nineveh would be destroyed but God changed His mind.
Now what the wmscog does not want us to question is that God changed His mind because they repented. I don't see why God should change His mind in 1988 and 2012 when more and more people are sinning and hardly anyone repenting.
My sincerest apologies, but after checking my references again it seems I am a proven human being… “the bridegroom was a long time coming” is the 2012 reference and the green book 40 year reference to the year 1988 was removed. The missing 3 chapters are out in broken english. The bridgroom and they all fell asleep book is the 2012 ref, add 168 years to 1844. I think everybody knew what you meant. I certainly did. I see no need for apologies.

Oh my F*CKING GOD! I cannot believe the drivel that I read on the link! Again no real explanation for what was obviously a lie.
The truth of the matter is that ash lied about 1988 and 2012 and uses some defense of how this is how it was done in the apostolic age! And then he says that those who believed him and his mentioning of the dates are tempted by satan? What a serious mind F#@K! WOW!
Or was ash tryna hint to his true identity? Simply because he tells the folks the dates and those who believe him are now tempted by satan, but seeing how it was ash who made the date "known", was he tryna tell us that he's the devil in disguise?
