AnonymousInactiveThere are problems with their website. Hosting errors. Anyone know more about this group? What little I could find out is they have a current operation going against a Krishna cult in Florida. On their onsite questionnaire they ask a lot of personal questions including personal contact info, etc. I would caution anyone against using the FACT site until you get more info on who or what is behind it. As you know, the Scientologists play the anti-cult game also.

MountainMomParticipantYes, I know a few things. They are a legitimate group out of Florida that was started as a result of a man losing his daughter to a cult in Denver. She wound up going crazy and commiting suicide as a result of involvement with a charismatic guru at a college there. Very sad story. This group sends out literature that can be used anywhere to help people identify a group as a cult or a legitimate operation, whether it is religious or not. I have personally talked to the lady in charge there. I've never had problems with their site, but maybe something is down right now. Anyway, good group, and you can trust them.
But you are right, HH, it is good to be cautious. If anyone has come across a group called "Anonymous" beware. This is not something we want to be associated with. They are vigilantes and I don't agree with their methods. I know that the good people on the examining site do not, either. This might warrant a whole other post.

AnonymousInactiveThanks MM. Sad story, I read that also on their site. I'll try to make contact with them and report back.

AnonymousInactiveI have also spoken with them. This is why I put it up for others to see. They are very interested in our group. If you have any questions, please feel free to message me as well.

HH/Upset Mom, FACT is a legitimate group, it is a sad story and they do alot of positive things.
They give out a lot of good information and can certainly help people in the early stages but they are not experts and are not qualified to give counsel or advice on individual situations, unless it has to do with Katsura Khan, who is their cult nemesis.
I didn't know they were interested in the wms, that's good, but I doubt they could go toe to toe with them, maybe someday but not now.

AnonymousInactiveSally…..While I agree with you about them not being experts and not qualified to give advice on individual situations, they sure can help prevent recruiting! Some of us may not be able to help our trapped loved ones but we sure can help another family from involvement! A little bit of prevention can be worth alot of pain later. jmo…… 🙂

AnonymousInactiveA brief search finds very disturbing information about this Kan character. Katsura Kan. Kind of a dancing Jim Jones. Mind control takes many forms.
