One of the bigguest scams on how to bring more people in is the 10 talents. World mission society members are obligated to bring 10 talents (people) to the church in order to enter heaven. Imagine all the laws that they keep, sabbath, passover, feast of god, offerrings. You can keep all those laws but if dont have the 10 talents you can not and will not enter heaven. This is a great form of recruiting and manipulating its member . Thats why all members of the church are so happy when they bring a new perosn in and are saying god bless you. because withought those 10 talents they are not going in to heaven . oh yea a talent has to stay in zion in order to be a talent. And when a memmber achive this feature they get some gold plated talents sent from mother and a bible signed with her name on it.

I agree with you. They kept us busy with getting signatures & getting signed off to be approved to preach subjects, door to door preaching, taking care of the new members, taking care of Zion. I mean the list goes on. Makes me regret not having a degree in psychology or sociology which was on my list of interests when choosing my major.
I can understand how in hindsight it would seem like these majors would have turned the light on, so-to-speak.
Sadly, research shows that it matters little when one is still in the group.

144000Participant"World mission society members are obligated to bring 10 talents (people) to the church in order to enter heaven."
This is a downright lie. It is a goal, not a mandatory requirement. Even the person who made two talents and five talents they were also rewarded by their master. In the same way you will go to heaven if you either; recruit a non-zero amount of people OR are among the final amount of baptisms before the end and.
But we should not seek excuses to do less work for God, but we should seek excuses to do more. So the saying is to bear 10 talents.
That is where you are confused.
Three out of the Four Zions I have been to made this explicitely clear after members started to become sad that they did not bear as much fruit as other members.
June 4, 2013 at 2:41 AM #45271
144000ParticipantAlso every Zion in the world says; that any and all actions you do for the gospel work contributes to preaching, and that you share in bearing fruit with anyone whom you assist who is a preacher.
In that way, even the people who provide meals for the members but do not preach, are feeding the preachers who go and bear talents, and so the people who feed them also get credit for the talents in God's eyes.
June 4, 2013 at 2:45 AM #45272
144000ParticipantSuch is verbatim the word of God. You should feel compelled to do more, not less, not by our words, but by God's stern warning.
If you object to this teaching then you object to God.
June 4, 2013 at 3:12 AM #45273
DisturbedParticipantAnd I guess you didn’t hear in your Zion at the beginning of 2012 there was a contest for bearing talents? I guess I made that up too right?
I’ll take you calling me a liar…for one day (if not today) you will realize in your heart that you are being lied to by WMSCOG the same way we were. You can apologize to me at that time or let your guilt eat you up. I’ll still be here when you decide to leave the church.
June 4, 2013 at 3:18 AM #45274
144000ParticipantThere was one single friendly competition in one of the four Zions I attented, but that is not indicative of the wild claims your making about our 10 talents mission now.
You are exagerrating in the extreme.
What I find more alarming in fact, is that other churches do not preach about trying not to be the man who buries his talent in the ground.
How is this not a mainstream teaching?
God says "throw out the worthless servant to the weeping and gnashing of teeth (hell)" I would re-examine yourself and repeat the stern warnings of God before you ever presume to criticize us.
June 4, 2013 at 4:19 AM #45275
DisturbedParticipantDeny deny deny…or maybe you weren’t in the loop because you don’t go preaching. Like I’ve said before, you spend a lot of time here me I don’t see any preaching going on. In fact you’re proving to others who are finding out about the church the reasons on why NOT to join. False church, worshipping a false god. Watch out, they just might sue you!
June 4, 2013 at 4:34 AM #45276
144000Participant"maybe you weren't in the loop because you don't go preaching."
Actually I went and did a lot of preaching and Father and Mother bore many fruits thanks to them for using me.
Imply that I wasn't "in the loop" more the people who know me will find your humiliating assumptions even more laughable.
My reasons are my own, I'm very active and I spend a lot of time doing a lot of things, like going to dinner with my wife once she's ready.

DisturbedParticipantI didn’t know you were such a comedian 144,000. You’re always justifying why you’re here. You speak rudely to most everyone. You’re not trying to save souls here so what is your purpose? You really only make yourself look foolish. Somehow I doubt your peers are actively checking out this website to see your comments. While I was an obedient member I never came to this website. We were told “mother said” the Internet was like eating from the TKGE. I never came here until I wanted to find the real truth. So when your peers do come I hope they see the truth about your church and leave.

What exactly does the underlined sentence mean?
Incidentally my friend in the wmscog, and this is a different country, is feeling the pressure of not having come anywhere close to her target of 10. I wonder who's lying.
June 4, 2013 at 4:56 AM #45279
144000ParticipantYou criticized me, and now your criticizing me answering you too?
You just love to criticize everything, no matter how many assumptions you make along the way.
Also you may not have noticed, but we have new websites now and internet is a part of many people's daily lives and this website happens to be on the front page of Google now. So some things have changed since that announcement. Not much, but some. Countermeasures have been taken.
My purpose is between me and those I answer to, none of them will be decieved by you implying anything about me, I would prefer it that nobody has to visit this garbage pit of slander.
But if they do, and if they are peers who know me, then they will have a stable of brothers and officials to support them, and they will know who I have talked to before ever posting here.
Bye for now
P.S. emil Your "friend" probably isn't lying, and niether am I, just tell them to ask about the man with two talents, their instructions may have been simpler and did not explain the full parable. Or perhaps they are in a different situation because they are in a different place. I would not want to make assumptions about it, nor leap to conclusions.
June 4, 2013 at 4:56 AM #45280
DisturbedParticipantLet me see if I have an Elohist magazine (WMSCOG magazine) with an article about the ten talent movement. We can shut this conversation down real quick when I locate some proof.
June 4, 2013 at 4:59 AM #45281
DisturbedParticipantCountermeasures were taken before I came on the website…that’s what made me come.
God doesn’t need countermeasures nor to fight His creation on human terms.

All I'm saying is, notwithstanding the official pronouncements of your church, members feel motivated by some messages that flow like under currents. A great way to make people do what you want while avoiding the backlash.

StainedParticipantTEN TALENTS. LMAO.

emilParticipantI wonder what will happen to poor Disturbed. She got them the 10 talents. Is she saved or not? All that trouble for nothing and you send her to hell?

StainedParticipantMatthew 6:19
Do not store up for yourselves treasures on earth !
Proverbs 13:7
One person pretends to be rich, yet has nothing; another pretends to be poor, yet has great wealth.
I guess certain people miss these parts of the Bible huh ? LOL.

DisturbedParticipantDon’t worry about me Emil…I’m saved by the grace! And I’m rich in faith in the ONE True God Almighty, the Most High. I’m even more blessed now that I am not longer participating in false god worship that is detestable to God.

Here's the answer a'la our friends: Sometimes Father will have used castaways for good. Or some similar Bullshit.
