It was shocking for me to read the letter, said to be written by Zhang Gil Jah’s ex-husband, (https://www.examiningthewmscog.com/archives/zhang-gil-jahs-ex-husbands-side-of-the-story/) that was found on a Korean website. It is a really sad story. It seems that her husband was in the same situation that many people with family members in the WMSCOG find themselves…upset, heart-broken, angry, hopeless, just to name a few. It seems to me that many members are following in their “mother’s footsteps”.
But seriously, would the real God return to earth and sin? Absolutely not!!!
Exodus 20:14 says “you shall not commit adultery”.
Mark 10:12 says “And if she divorces her husband and marries another man, she commits adultery”.
So how can Zhang Gil Jah be “mother god” if she committed adultery? Simply she CAN NOT BE GOD.
I have never gotten a real answer about this from a WMSCOG member. Maybe there will be an intelligent answer here in the forum.

That is correct. They teach that Cain's wife was a neanderthal. The wms believes that neanderthals were humans without souls that roamed the earth at the time of Adam and Eve. Problem…the Bible does not support the idea that God created any humans without souls so this theory doesn't make sense. Nice try though.

Well, this rolls back to what I “misunderstood” in another post. From what I remember, God only records the life of those you believe in God. I think the study was along the lines of man vs beast. I’ll look in my notes because it was a long time ago & I don’t remember much. But, show me where T-Rex was created. & the “wooly mammoth”.. I believe they existed but I haven’t seen any verse supporting that. That’s another question I have but didn’t ask.

WMSCOG throws new "twists" into many traditional, more reasonable, Christian beliefs. This is because WMSCOG exists not really as a church but as a cult. The great inspiration for WMSCOG, as I have said previously, is Mr Sun Myung Moon. The young leaders of WMSCOG back in the 1980's were very excited about the earning potiential of this type of organization. Moon earned billions. So they carefully crafted a "new" religious approach (very similar to Moon's, ie "Father" (Ahn) and "Mother" (Zhang)). And, like many Christian cults, wove an intricate assemblage of Biblical passages, taken out of context, to prove the new "theory".
The key to WMSCOG, though, is not theology. It is the mind control techniques used that create the cult like dependencies. This is REALLY where they copied Mr. Moon. He and his Korean and Japanese formulators were masters at developing these techniques. You only need to look at North Korea to see where this approach can lead ….
WMSCOG is one of many cults that operate in USA that employ these techniques … it is really sad to see so many lives taken in and wasted for so many years by these groups …. Eventually almost all members find their way out, but the pain caused to family and friends is always remembered …..

I would like to point out Moon's church does not teach that Moon is Jesus Christ but that he was sent by Jesus Christ a long with thousands of others to take the role of second coming christ.

I would like to point out Moon's church does not teach that Moon is Jesus Christ but that he was sent by Jesus Christ a long with thousands of others to take the role of second coming christ.
So does WMSCOG teach that Mr. Ahn is Jesus Christ? Or that Mr. Ahn is the second coming? I don't see much difference …. Koreans are never mentioned anywhere in the Bible for anything because the people that wrote the Bible never heard of Korea ….

There isn't a difference betwen Jesus and Second Coming Christ BUT according the Moon's Church there is a difference they DO NOT believe Moon to be Jesus or God while still believe him to be one of MANY fulfillments of second coming christ.
